nope, your'e not playing control. you're just not playing deadguy. deadguy is a specific color tempo deck. would you call a UW tempo deck deadguy? or a BG tempo deck deadguy?

The difference between Deadguy and Rock/Junk/Dark Horizons, is that deadguy has a good matchup -vs- Rock/Junk/Dark Horizons, lol. seriously.

has anyone ever tried ghost council of orzhova as a finisher?? not saying it would be good, just curious. its a 4/4 with an annoying ability, and a nice interaction with karakas...

a single avenger is an equal clock to three squadron hawks. three for 1 vs 1 for 1. thats how it's better.

squadron hawk forces you to overcommit to the board or get set back by disruption. you play 1, then draw 3. If you hold them, they will be hit with discard. if you play them out to get a fast clock...

Great write-up, just a few things im looking at:

Slow combo is good right now (ANT, Tide, Show) which means hymn is good right now.
Rock is good right now because it has game against slow combo....

I'm of the 12 disruption spell camp, especially since combo will be on the rise for a bit

Did some playtesting last night. Seems the deck does great against GWB Rock, which should be good since SCG Edison had 4 in the top 16 and 3 in the top 8. Watch out for explosives and deed (duh) the...

so does no one consider spectral lynx anymore? it can chump any goyf or knight all day, can't be blocked by progenitus, shrugs off firespout, and regenerates for cheap...plus they're like 50 cents...
