    Re: [DTB] U/R Delver

I'm not a big fan of Winter Orb. I think it's too slow and clunky against decks that can play around it. Sure, no one is boarding in hate for it, but there are better interactive slots one could use.

Re: Urza stompy. Because he's awesome

Gustha’s Scepter might be something to look at with LED and an Urza-Academy-esque deck.

Grindstone is also from a set with a much smaller print run.

    Re: [Deck] Strawberry Shortcake

One of the most unsung cards in this MU is Simian Spirit Guide. Dodging Daze unexpectedly can be a blowout. The problem is the UR player will play around extra mana like Petal because it’s visible.

Sticky: Poll: Re: All B/R update speculation.

Every time I see "no changes," I kind of get a sinking feeling a little bit. I like seeing things shaken up, especially in Legacy where it's rare you get an unbanning.

    Re: n.M.o. [New Minotaur Order]

Putting Bringer of the White Dawn into play to follow up a Morophon is devastating.

    Re: n.M.o. [New Minotaur Order]

That's awesome. I think Chrome Mox might be worthwhile, in the event Bringer or other big creatures get stuck in hand. Chrome Mox with cards like Battleshaper turn into Plateaus, too.

    At that...

Sticky: Poll: Re: All B/R update speculation.

But this is 2019, not 1994. I played during that period.

If someone double-Dark Rituals into a Mind Twist, good for them.

You know, they could just double-Dark Ritual into Ad Nauseam and win...

Sticky: Poll: Re: All B/R update speculation.

I'm okay with Mind Twist in Legacy. I mean, it's a discard spell. It requires an investment, and honestly, if you're looking to play the discard game and tap out to play a sorcery speed spell for >3...
  14. Re: [Bethlehem PA] 8/3/19 Legacy 1k guaranteed Black Magic Games

Not trying to sound greedy, but any chance it can be bumped to a 2K? If players are traveling a few hours from out of the area, the EV helps offset some of the costs for the players that do well. A...

You may want to relay this to whomever that T.O. is that's running those events. Even if the events aren't sanctioned, it'll train newer players or existing players to use this method to determine...

    Re: n.M.o. [New Minotaur Order]

    Thanks, appreciate it.

I'm not sure how you can say that when there's really no empirical evidence or high-level results to back it up. I think both decks are entirely different in their approach....

    Re: n.M.o. [New Minotaur Order]

It’s still a work in progress. Lackey is too situational and harder to procure in the opener (when it’s really only optimal). Didgeridoo is available to get with multiple options.

    The deck could,...

  20. Re: Should we embrace the use of MPC proxies in order to prevent legacy’s death?

By that logic, wouldn't the "death" of Legacy be attributed to Star City Games? None of that would be possible without the Open Series that sucked a ridiculous numbers of new players in and gave...

Re: Winter is Coming - Echo combo

This may be something worthwhile to read on the power of Echo of Eons as it compares to power with LED and cards like Windfall of old. I actually used to run this deck back in 2002 and, honestly, it...
