Now that Wren and Six is banned, how essential is 4 maindeck pithing needle? Lots of decks don't play Wastelands, Wasteland recursion won't be a thing anymore and the needles can come in post board.

Once upon a Time seems like it could be quite strong in this deck.

Elvish Reclaimer also seems like a solid replacement for Expedition Map.

The new Ugin and new Karn may have given this deck a shot in the arm. Two lists 5-0ed on mtgo using these cards

I disagree that the below list doesn't count as Turbo Eldrazi. It uses cloud post mana and cost reducers to turbo out massive Eldrazi.

Chalice at 1 >>>> Pithing Needle. Chalice cripples so many decks that I would never cut it. So playing 1cc cards is not an option imo. Wasteland is not that big a threat here. Getting a land blown up...

Wasteland is actually less of an issue here than with a traditional build. Traditional builds are much more delayed by a Cloudpost getting Wasted where as this manabase is designed to function...

Because the new Eldrazi (Thought-Knot Seer, Reality Smasher etc) are so powerful, I think it would be worthwhile taking this deck in a slightly different direction.

I have always been interested in modifying this deck to accomidate Chalice of the Void and maybe Trinisphere

A resolved Chalice at 1 or Trinisphere is autowin against a big chunk of the format.
