Re: Obscure Cards with Latent Potential

Forgot about Courser. Yeah then those other two are pretty outclassed by him.

Re: Obscure Cards with Latent Potential

I can't remember if I've brought these up before but Sindbad and Fa'adiyah Seer both work really well with SDT, Sylvan Library, and Counterbalance. They can clear the chaff off the top of your deck...

Re: Obscure Cards with Latent Potential

I think Eon Hub has potential as a hard lock with Stasis or the Parallax enchantments and it also works great with anything with cumulative upkeep like Mystic Remora. I've been working on a deck with...
  4. I need help working with a Divining Witch/Lab Maniac Deck

    Hi!
I saw a really great vintage list on TMD designed by Mike Sollymossy that seemed to have some success. The point is to win by activiating Divinging Witch while Laboratory Maniac is out. Here's...
  5. Re: Rebels living a in Cavern are at a standstill. More at 11.

Yeah, Stoneforge actually seems to work alright with Standstill but I thought it was best to stick with recruitable creatures and the more creature types the worse Caverns gets. Adding both TNN and...

    Reanimator Hybrid

I posted an earlier version of this decklist in the Reanimator thread in Established decks but no one really paid attention to it so I figured that it might be best to give it its own thread. It does...
  7. Re: Rebels living a in Cavern are at a standstill. More at 11.

    Haha...Yeah that was it.

Also what should I cut for Brainstorm and Training Grounds?
  8. Standstill at the Cavern of Souls: Jace denies responsibility. More at 11.

A few weeks ago I was thinking about how well Rebels worked with both Cavern of Souls and Standstill and decided to give it a shot for fun online. It's not a game changer but it did alright and was...

    Re: [Deck] Reanimator

I've been testing this Reanimator variant with some success online. It started out as an attempt to abuse Balancing Act and gradually evolved into this:

    2 Crucible of Worlds
    4 Lion's Eye Diamond...

    Re: GBR Infect Stompy

I've pretty much given up hope on this deck as far as being competitive is concerned. It's fun and can get some quick blowout wins but it's to easily disruptable. I would like to see something like...

    GrizzleBalance (Reanimator Control)

So I know I just posted a deck recently on these boards but I've abandoned that project. This is another deck I was working on at the same time and people keep complimenting it and asking about it so...

    Re: GBR Infect Stompy

I changed the deck significantly and it's a doing a lot better but I'm not sure it's good enough yet. It's a lot more linear, with Blighted Agent being naturally evasive, and consistent with solid MD...

    GBR Infect Stompy

Hi! I've been testing a new deck with lots of free/cheap pump spells and cheap creatures with infect or evasion. The deck is pretty self-explanatory and I should mention I just added Dark Confidants...

    Re: Stronghold Tell.

I just wanted to put it out there. I think Keiga could be a good backup plan against similar decks like Sneak and Show. Discard might not always get rid of everything and if they Show and Tell a...

    Re: Clear the Ramp

I was hoping Meloku would be an out to Abrupt Decay. What, if anything, would you recommend for changes?

    Re: Clear the Ramp

I know. I'm hoping Realmwright and Joiner can handle it though. I need to test more for sure but if I can't get enough red mana consistently then I'm probably going to cut red altogether. Basic...

    Clear the Ramp

Ok, this is my second attempt at making this combo work and I think I've got it working much better than last time. Anyway, this deck uses only basic lands in conjunction with Scouting Trek to...

    Re: Stronghold Tell.

If you wanted to play it a bit safe and include creatures with a casting cost less than Grislebrand then I think the Kamigawa dragon spirits might be a good idea. At least as sideboard possibilities...

Re: Yet To Be Broken Cards

Kind of off topic but that's always confused me too. It's a strange clunky subgame card that just wastes time.

    Re: Clear the Ramp

Well here's an idea for a RUG list. Again it's untested but this doesn't have Clear the Land and uses treasure hunt, scouting trek, countryside crusher, and seismic assault. I'd like some recursion...

    Re: Clear the Ramp

Unfortunately I can't test this without cockatrice :frown: . It's been hard to work on this without testing. I'm not really expecting this to be top tier either but it'd be cool to see it or part of...

    Re: Clear the Ramp

Hate to bump my own post but is any of this worthwhile? Is the heart of the deck (Scouting trek, clear the land, treasure hunt, Nantuko cultivator, and basic lands) worth working with? Any feedback,...

    Clear the Ramp

Hi! I would like to preface this by saying that I don't know much about legacy. I do find it interesting though and it is also the only format that I believe the following combo/deck would work in. I...

    Re: R/u Pump Slap

What about Gelectrode for reusable pinging, throw some curiositys on them and you've got a draw engine. That might be more of an idea for casual though but I think it might be better than Spellblade.
