Eh, you could run a 1 of Thrun and Sigarda to get value out of him past 3, or stuff like Restoration Angel/Flickerwisp to reset counters.

Yes, postboard they will cut Forces, and remember they will most likely bring in some number of Supreme Verdict, so you'll have a couple more 4s to deal with.
Militant seems pretty good right now with DRS and Goyf everywhere. Unfortunately Maverick already suffers against most of the hate intended for TNN, so I don't know if more x/1s are the place to be....
This deck sounds hilariously fun. 15 lands seems nuts, but I guess you have 8 mana dorks. It also seems like Prophet of Kruphix might be slightly better than Murkfiend with all the ETB effects...
That's perfect. I was actually wondering specifically about Garruk vs. Elspeth and if it was just a casting cost thing, but wasn't verbose enough with my question, so thanks for being a mind reader.
Congrats on the win, and thanks for the writeup. How did you feel about Garruk in the main, and when exactly do you bring in Souls from the board? I saw you brought it in against affinity and Junk,...
Great job Luis! Here's the list, for anyone interested:
4 Windswept Heath
4 Savannah
4 Wasteland
1 Forest
1 Plains
1 Maze of Ith
1 Karakas
3 Horizon Canopy
Why would you run that over Boil?
I'm no Biblical scholar, but I don't recall him ever flying, mostly just walking from place to place. I'm pretty sure he has islandwalk though.
I guess the only thing scarier would be a flying, equipment wearing, removal proof creature.
Is the Fateful Hour on Faith's Shield really worth playing it over Emerge Unscathed, which nobody plays anyway?
