It could replace Blood Moon in Show and Tell, since it lets you keep the mana from the sol lands as well as blue from any Volcanics that were searched up. I don't play the deck though.

Probably thought of as too complicated for newer players, considering cards like Ancient Zigguraut and Cavern of Souls that add mana for creature spells. Could be easily confused when your Caverns...

Wizards certainly is exploring out of the game mechanics. Even Contraptions are partially outside the game, even though the contraption itself can be interacted with.

For general Legacy, think the card itself needs to be Split Second, 12/12 hexproof trample for GG to be splashable as a 1 of in the board. I think then it would be UU, and could maybe squeeze into...

Between this guy and Delve creatures, you can really get a Clash deck fired up. I can't wait to see what other obviously playable cards they can cram into this set.
