I want to start off by saying that I think DRS is a balanced card for Legacy.
Having said that, I’m curious if you didn’t have access to the card, what would you put in those four slots?
I prefer Progenitus in the main over Reaper King. You can run 4 SnT in the sideboard to transform to surprise your opponent.
I'm bad with rules and I'm just curious about this situation:
I have a Mirage Mirror in play. I use it to copy a Thespian's Stage and then activate it to copy a Forest. What happens?
I recommend death and taxes. On the surface, it's fairly straightforward BUT it has a lot of deeper interactions that can and should be learned that take the deck's performance to the next level....
Sorry that I'm going to ask lots of newbie questions, still extremely new to the deck.
I've seen quite a few 3 Depths lists and 4 Depths lists. Why would you cut this card and go down to 3?
Naaah... they've revisited the Reserved List since Porphyr was printed. It's not the same situation nowadays.
In the sideboard - favoring original Needle or the leaked peek-needle?
Looks like people aren't done messing with the price of Eternal Garden cards just yet. Glacial Chasm has started to spike (although on a much smaller scale).
Several cards from Eternal Garden discussed here lately - Tabernacle, Drop of Honey, Glacial Chasm. As if that deck wasn't difficult to buy into in the first place, this will only deter more people...
Okay, picked it up. Time to pick up the rest. I own almost 20 legacy decks and not once have I ever played with or played against Lands, so this is going to be a completely new experience! Lots and...
Friends are the best. My dream eternal deck has always been Eternal Garden (R/G Lands). I may be in a position where I can pick up a Tabernacle for $600 + cards from a buddy and that would just make...
Be right back, combing through niche decklists.
Sure sure, I think both decks are solid for different reasons.
The only thing I want to add some depth to is the fact that I feel BR splashes easier than UB. BR is almost exclusively black and it...
I like him as well. He's in the sideboard right now, but with the right meta I do put him in the main.
@Quentin - I don't run all those cards as my sideboard, just possible cards.
I didn't mention it, but I definitely swap either the scrubland or the sea for a badlands based on my sideboarding.
...
The reason that I go for BR versus UB:
1. It's faster - It'll race most combo decks and outrace some hate.
2. It's resilient - It doesn't just *poof* get shut down like a lot of different combo...
Got my new decklist together. It's pretty standard I believe with the exception of a weird land or two to facilitate a flexible sideboard. Let me know if I'm missing any cards that should be...
I'm on iOS and I don't see that app available... ):
I have this at my desk at work because it is the epitome of my job sometimes.
I think one around rules support would be fantastic!
I thought that's all this thread has ever been? The thread exists to contain all of this type of discussion to one location. It's not supposed to be productive, it's to get people's thoughts out...
I would imagine renaming this one to UBx would probably assist newer users in realizing there are different threads.
You say that like BR can't splash for blue? That's pretty common with the list. A single Scrubland so that they can run 4x Wear/Tear out of the sideboard. Leyline doesn't hurt those prepared for the...
The main difference being we take no damage with the angel and have plenty of time to do other things. Outside of 2-3 creatures (Iona, Elesh, Archon), I don't think there are any set creatures that...
I like the look of Empyrial Archangel in the sideboard. Has evasion, protection, and protects you. Sure it doesn't protect other creatures, but you may not have to with her. What are people's...
Tuning for the local meta will always have to take place. This isn't a list like RUG where you just have your decklist and you stick with it for years.
I just bought into this deck since I...
