Re: Urza stompy. Because he's awesome

I’m convinced this is a legacy and modern deck. This isn’t the best build of it in my opinion.

I’d play 4 force of will and 4 force of negation. I’d probably run 4 swords to plowshare, 4...

Re: Control of the Court - Phoenix

FTW I like what you are doing here. Gamble is close. Not sure.

But the burning inquiry, punishing fire, grove is a must!

    Wasteland seems unnecessary.

I think you need manamorphose or...

Re: Hollow One Controls the Courts

I'm pretty sure the most broken cards in any of these lists are the Goblin Lores and the Control of the Courts. I'd just run more of these with delve spells in the green versions too.

Re: Steel Stompy 2.0 / Ravager Shops

Lands is one of the tougher matchups out there. I think the actual toughest is Mono Red prison with Fiery Confluence. But lands is still difficult. Thankfully they recently printed sorcerous...

Re: Steel Stompy 2.0 / Ravager Shops

I live in Michigan and the Legaxy community is strong. I also travel back to Atlanta all the time and play with those guys down there as well.

It would be better if you gave me a short list of...

Re: Hollow One Controls the Courts

very true. The storm matchup is unwinnable at this point. That is step 2 in development. Step 1 is to get the shell right. We are still in step 1. Once we get to step 2, which is suring up bad...

Re: Steel Stompy 2.0 / Ravager Shops

I’ve been playing this list for 2.5 years. Have gone through colorless versions and black versions, it is my opinion the black versions with the abyss is the more powerful version of the list, since...

Re: Hollow One Controls the Courts

Ashen Rider may be the best choice vs Sneak and Show. It also has synergy with Call to the Netherworld.

Re: Hollow One Controls the Courts

Obviously you can run Deathrite Shaman. I don’t think you want to play it personally. Exiling lands and delving then away is the same thing. Flameblade Adept is a 4 or 5 mana 1 drop. It also has...

Re: Hollow One Controls the Courts

Tomstalker costs 8 which makes it a lot worse than Gurmag Angler. It also costs double black. Flying is not a relevant ability, speed is. There is a 3/3 black delver creature for 6 mana that is...

Re: Hollow One Controls the Courts

20 mana source is actually a lot, when you can cast all but 8 spells with 1 mana. The only spells that always cost 2 mana are goblin lore and control of the court.

Mox Diamond allows for lots of...

    Re: [DECK] Eldrazi Stompy

I still have no idea how you guys don't understand the power of Wasteland Strangler, Deathrite Shaman, and Relic of Progenitus in Legacy.

The lists in this thread are glass cannon creature lists...

    Re: [DECK] Eldrazi Stompy

You are an agro creature deck, with some high CC cards (4 and 5). I would play Mishra's Factory over Wasteland all day in a deck like that.

I also agree that it is WRONG to not have 4 Caverns in...

    Re: [DECK] Eldrazi Stompy

    Re: [DECK] Eldrazi Stompy

I played a list in the classic event at StarCity Games Atlanta, I was 4-3, losing the last match cost me 9th place.

I think the eldrazi have a real chance in Legacy. I took a couple of bad...
  22. Re: WBC Eldrazi Aggro/Midrange (Non-Stompy, Non-Ramp)]

Bloon Moon isn't that bad if you are only running 4 colorless mana requirement creatures, like 4 thought-knot seer. If you run more than 4, then you start having a real risk of not being able to...

Re: Black Eldrazi - Nether Void Exploited

This is a really good point. You could remove the Relics from the deck entirely and play bojuka bog. This helps with your black mana, adds more sorces to ramp for ulamog, and gets around chalice.

Re: Black Eldrazi - Nether Void Exploited

I'm not entirely sold on blight herder either. Reality Smasher might be the better card because haste almost makes it planeswalker removal.

I think matter reshaper is bad.

    It's also possible...

Re: Black Eldrazi - Nether Void Exploited

Alright, you convinced me to buy another Nether Void. You are probably right, and at worst, the 2nd copy is a great sideboard card.

I think the main deck needs to find room for 1 trinisphere as...
