Sticky: Poll: Re: All B/R update speculation.

I think we should revisit Survival getting unbanned. We now have snapcaster Mage to rebuy swords and paths. We also have surgicals from the board to fight that deck. At the height of survivalvine...

I'm in totally agreement with you Joe. I felt the format was terrible, I was bringing up the point to Lemnear about the interaction of Snapcaster and MM.

Do you really want to play in a format with Snapcaster Mage + Mental Misstep

Re: [Article] Eternal Europe: What Legacy Needs

Why waste cardboard and try to print another hoser. We need cards like GSZ that help build new archetypes that are inherently strong against blue strategies.

Re: Cedric Phillips on Storm in Legacy

Cedric omitted storm's horrific Thresh matchup. If it were that easy to start counting to 10, more pilots would be sleeving up LED and rituals.

The rant was entertaining to watch.

    Re: Vintage Metagame

I haven't played vintage in ages. The main reason is there is no one in my local area that has a deck. Another was I lost interest in the format. When they restricted brainstorm and unrestricted...

    Re: First piece of power

My first piece of power I ever owned was my gf buying me a mox ruby for valentines day. However, it took me awhile to get my set of jewelry.
  13. Poll: Re: Would you actually post in a Vintage subforum?

I would also add two more gush to the deck. Just cut the mystic remoras for another MM and mystical tutor.

    Day 1

    Round 1*Chick filet
We go to food court to grab some breakfast. My buddy Eric explains to me the bagel chicken sammich is the power play so he let's me cut him in line and I end up buying...

Re: Balls of Steel - The $200 Solution

I was your round 14 opponent with the 3 giant goyfs. I didn't know what the fuck you were piloting. Sad to hear you didn't top 16 after our match, what did you play in round 15? I ended up winning...
  18. Re: [DTB] Canadian Thresh (a.k.a. RUG Tempo, Tempo Thresh)

I agree that Thresh needs dismember. I lost to Edleman who piloted UW delver to a top 4 finish. He won both of our postboard games because Jotun Grunt was kicking my balls in. It was so bad I...

    Re: [GP] Atlanta (Legacy format)

That doesn't excuse them for being blind and not looking at standings to see that there was no way they could draw into day 2 at X-2.

    Re: [GP] Atlanta (Legacy format)

If you're X-2 going into the last round you're dumb as a rock for drawing yourself out. I don't care what the TO said at the begining of the day. The players to my left in round 9 decided to draw...

  24. Re: [DTB] Canadian Thresh (a.k.a. RUG Tempo, Tempo Thresh)

You have lightning bolts and chain/forked bolt to supplement the grim lavamancers in the elf and affinity matchups. Even a turn 3 lavamncer is good enough to dominate the board in the matchup...
  25. Re: [DTB] Canadian Thresh (a.k.a. RUG Tempo, Tempo Thresh)

I would always run grim lavamancers before running any copies of Rough/tumble. It's an easy swap with mongoose. the decks lavamancers are generally good against mongoose is pretty bad.
