If I played in an Earthcraft tourney, do you think the Squirrel Deck would be allowed?
I've put together a sweet rendition of the Squirrel Deck, and I'd really like to use it to work some Magic.

how is ulvenwald tracker in legacy?
Ive modified my list to splash blue. its not a big enough splash to have room for a basic island because doran turn 3 is great, but it does help save lifeloss from spellskite and gives access to more...
most of those descent finishes by nic fit have been in tourneys with small turnouts. i dont think this deck is a DTB, but thats only my opinion.
how is this deck in the DTB section? I havent seen any deck like this top-8 at a SCG open. can someone point me to tourney winning decklists recently?
petals are very valid to use, just i like to have more than one use out of them and overall to me a diamond is better than an extra land because it cant get wastelanded.
Regarding my choice of moxen over dynamos. I tried dynamos but ended up liking having earlier metalworkers over anything else. Mox diamond is just another way to t1 metalworker.
for sideboard I...
here is my latest 75. works pretty well so far:
Maindeck
4 Wurmcoil Engine
4 Steel Hellkite
4 Lodestone Golem
4 Metalworker
1 Phyrexian Metamorph
i agree 100% i have a colorless MUD deck and with proper sideboarding, it has no guaranteed losses to certain decks.
can you do it? i dont know python.
oh my god! if thats the case then your best bet is to use land grant. amazing!
storm newb here so i apologize if the question is silly but i really want to play this deck one day.
I'm a huge fan of the 1 land lists but i dont understand why it would run a full playset of...
i think birds also went down in price cuz noble hierarch got printed.
both cards tanked in price.
stoneforge went from 25 doen to 10. the reprinting brought it to 6 i think.
jace went from 120 down to 65 IIRC.
would be fun but I dont see Squirrelcraft being legacy legal anytime soon.
merchant scroll cant find manamorphose.
grats on the win! I dont play a forgemaster build cuz my meta is heavy on stifle, but it always nice to see when a MUD deck trumps the others.
i think you just proved the oppositions point with that post. trinisphere pretty much raped the whole top 8 (for example in the semi finals, if not for trinisphere MUD would have lost to elves.
...
MUD is in top 4 on SCG open on this stream, and is using Trinispheres sideboard. http://www.twitch.tv/scglive
EDIT: MUD wins. a lot of weird choices in this deck. will be excited to see the full...
it wont stop the initial FoW if they have one for the trinisphere, but if it resolves then you can throw all their countermagic out the window. Thats why i like it over thorns. yes it doesnt stack,...
i think for non-welder builds you should be using darksteel citadels. they are immune to wastelands, and can be revealed with worker for 2 mana.
here's my current version of the deck list:
Maindeck:
4 Lodestone Golem
4 Metalworker
1 Phyrexian Metamorph
3 Phyrexian Revoker
3 Scarecrone
4 Steel Hellkite
i dont find affinity a hard matchup to be honest. with 10 ways to find doran in my deck, it shuts down their cranial plating and singal pest easily. they only have 3 shrapnel blasts in the deck to...
brume was a flexible slot that I put in just for LOL's versus splinter twin. they attack for game and then they lose.
I will swap it for crime // punishment. Sounds pretty good.
made some changes to my deck recently and it seems pretty solid vs everything except Martyr Proc and Heavy graveyard-based decks. Will have to address that a bit more for future changes. Here is the...
