What is the actual logic behind people calling for a DRS ban?
I feel like a creature being highly played instead of just another broken spell is actually pretty cool.

What is the actual logic behind people calling for a DRS ban?
I feel like a creature being highly played instead of just another broken spell is actually pretty cool.
Isn’t it just cantrips+anything at this point?
The cantrip shell has been proven to be the “best” thing you can be playing in legacy and has been for some time now. SDT was the correct ban because...
Never again do I have to watch someone Top for 30 seconds, twice a turn!
1. I remember this deck very clearly.
2. Why am I always on the outside of players imaginations...#oneday
3. Control was Tarmogoyf.dec for years. I played Counterbalance in the board of my UGw...
this.
I enjoyed the article, it is a new take on the argument that something needs to be done in legacy. While Shaman does keep down all of the old school delver decks, he also supports an entire class of...
I think you are missing the real problem here. The game has been in shambles ever since the ridiculous and uncalled for un-banning of Kird Ape, an atrocity that has never been remedied.
This.
I am sure the Card Creation thread is full of blue hosers that people have already thought of.
Also, your post actually made me finally agree that Top needs to go. Miracles is oppressive...
My issue with Miracles, and blue decks in general, is that there is not a strong, 100% reliable, and easy to use piece of hate that decks can use to sideboard against what the deck wants to do. Due...
You started this!
Ronald, my man, my main dude, when I used the term "broad generalization" I meant exactly that. A broad generalization of decktypes in the legacy meta game. We are also talking about the DtB section...
We are talking in broad generalizations here but if you say force/brainstorm/ponder as a shell then the win wondition isn't what we are talking about because the win condition varies per playstyle...
I did say that black disruption was much worse than blue disruption but it shouldn't take much imagination to think of a non-balanced discard spell.
Bam - B

While the ends might not feel the same on the opposing end of a lock, the way the cards are built around, implemented and countered are vastly different. I don't need to explain the actual...
You have never been able to play your spells at least now there are different ways to stop spell casting... really mixes it up.
Countermagic vs Chalice vs Waste/Port...disruption game is strong....
As much as I love the fact that there is only one blue deck in the DTB section, it only takes a quick scan of the DTB Philosophy thread to see that the format is about as diverse and interesting as...
Brilliant and very true.
I won't even take down my post, I'm a jackass, this is why you don't post at 1:30 before you go to bed. Sorry everyone.
Announcement Date: July 14, 2014

All of the top discussion makes me believe that this just might be the last week that we get to see Brainstorm in Legacy. I think that Brainstorm has had a target on its back for too long and non...
This is so true. Never thought of it this way.
I really wish they just printed more non-blue cards.
Thalia was a great start as she hates on the blue cantrip shell.
More cards that push the limit and cannot be played with islands.
They...
Instead of banning blue cards, I would be more interested in in the printing/unbanning of cards that cannot play blue. We have combo elves, why not give us recruiter for combo goblins?
Give...
Pretty much.
If I remember correctly I was pretty much alone with the deathrite shaman being amazing, I even posted prices in the Rock thread so my boys could pick them up cheap.
