I don't think anyone is outright saying that they aren't viable.

What a number of people, me included, are saying, is that the blue core elliminates some of the variance that you'll get, when...

I still like that they acknowledged that they made mistakes in bannings in the runup to PT and EW. Because that makes sense.

So long as nothing gets banned on Wednesday again. :D

I mean, in Modern, it would just make the Death's Shadow decks even more busted, being free life-loss, an information gatherer and a cantrip[/i].

In Legacy, I can also see the reasons why it's...

You forgot Dragonstorm, with a Turn 1 kill hand, and consistent T4 kill on the play.

Man, I really do miss TS-Lorwyn Standard.

This seems to be the current ban logic in all formats, witht he exception of Mirrorman in Standard:

Look at me, I'm the DCI!

Sticky: Poll: Re: All B/R update speculation.

IMO, Copter's strong enough to find a home in aggressive decks that lack card-draw. But it definitely sees play in Vintage, Commander and was quite heavily-played in Standard upto that point. But...

That's because he was literally clowning around with it. I'm not surprised he often won 1-0-1, and if he were on the opposite side of me, I'd consider calling a Judge over for Stalling. Such sloppy...

You never tested Scourge Extended, did you?

That deck could consistently kill on turn 3. Through hate. And there were no other pieces required, as everything was already there.

Nah, MD ius clearly nucking futs.

But IMO, Jar is overpowewred, but I don't think it's Overpowered for Legacy, as it stands. There's anough potent aggro, and I don't think there's a combo deck...

...and yet, there needs to be a Deck that simply is the Fun Police. And Shops was arguably that deck in Vintage.

Also, I'm really glad I managed to keep my Visions now that they're $50 a pop.

I'll take all the card for ONE copper piece plus shipping.

But most likely, the bans won't be in Legacy.

We may get an unban or two.

No, they generally don't unless they need the consistency. a full set of DTT is just too much unless your deck is called Miracles, and eveen then it isn't optimal to play the full set. Look at the...

I think the thing that people are missing is that Lands, D&T and MUD are still doing crazy things; it's just on a different axis to the majority of the metagame. For example, ANT, Tinfins and...

Indeed, although I think you may be under-rating Tasigur a little; recurring a card each turn is still pretty strong in Modern and Standard, and with TC and DTT as Delve spells, that makes an...
