Stock decklists lose to combos hard, however it has lots of space to be tweaked against combo decks and win against them. At one point I had nearly 100% success rate against storm combo decks.
As it was said correctly before, aggro loam is a control deck. Actually, it is very flexible and can be easily tuned to any metagame.
I think one of the main issues with aggro loam deck is that...
Had two more small tournaments with the same deck: 2-1 U stasis control, 1-2 custom Dragonstorm (had this game 95% won), 2-0 affinity, 2-0 aggro elves, 2-0 ZeRo combo, 2-0 affinity, ID, 1-2 Bant...
I'm more with CorpT. The main KoTR asset to me was that she usually enters the battlefield being at least 4/4 which makes her resistant to a single burn spell or Nacatl. I have often felt like I have...
Well, what I wrote was my first impression of your decklist, but it might be wrong. You said you tested your decklist in MWS, so I just wanted to hear about your testing results before posting some...
I think Zoo and Merfolks should be very difficult for such decklist and 4 seizes does not seem to do much against combo decks (well, maybe your whole sideboard is dedicated to combo matchups).
How...
Well, did you actually test Fire/Grove? Most of its critics are just "theorizing" its effectiveness, while those who actually tried it in their decks seem to appreciate this duo.
I like fire/grove...
Well, once again, I don't say PunFire is strictly better than Lavamancer, I just commented on your saying that Lavamancer is strictly better than Punfire which is not true to me (according to my...
Lavamancer is a great guy, but it is a bit non-sense to call the card strictly better than punishing fire. Punishing fire does not eat your graveyard (and thus making your goyfs smaller), can do 4...
I play Grove&Fire duo in non-budget 3-4 color Loam version and they are awesome.
I remember trying to build R/G version, but it really lacked some disruption and wasn't faster than 3-4 color Loam.
What do they play against combo decks? Just Chalices?
Well, I do play 2-3 assaults already, but I don't feel that they are enough, sometimes they come in a bit too late or you simply have no fuel for it.
Guys, did you test Burnwillow&punishingFire duo in this deck?
I just added it into my deck for testings and so far they seem to fit very nicely. It gives you a very strong weapon against all aggro...
