Read it too. I'll find some way to work it into the history section of the deck. I'll also update the primer with more recent lists including Treasure Cruise, as soon as I find the time to do so.

I honestly don't see how a vanillia 2/3 for R is better than a shrouded 3/3 for G, but the latter does come down much later than the sooner. My metagame would never warrant the more aggro Ape build,...
I've made a few updates to the primer, specifically to the Miracles and DeathBlade match-ups, as well as a section dealing with only Gitaxian Probe in the first post. I'd be happy for any and all...
Thanks for the great input. In many ways, this echoes my own experiences with the match-up. I've added a link to this post in the primer, hope you don't mind :)
@BKclassic: Thanks for the report,...
They also play Batterskull, Deathrite, Jace, and from the board RiP, Verdict etc. all of which can cause trouble. It's pretty build- and skill dependant too, and I'd say its closer to even than...
I often refrain to cut bolts in RUG at all, even against Storm opponents etc. Miracles has a way of stabilizing around 4-5 life, and at that point a couple of Bolts will put the game away.
Forked...
There are two reasons why I would rather be on RUG than BUG when facing Miracles - one is Nimble Mongoose, the other is Stifle. Stifle has so many applications in the match-up, countering fetch-lands...
If your meta game has a lot of bigger creatures, consider Dismember. It's really good, even if it's always -4 life for us.
Granted, Needle is MVP sometimes, and costs half the mana, but against many of the decks where Needle is good, Null Rod is great.
DTB again! Nicely done, Canadian Thresholders! :)
In a large tournament here in Sweden, a RUG pilot made T8 with the good old Thresh 54 + 2 Probes, 2 Forked Bolt, 2 Pierce. He used the following...
I prefer Dismember over Spell Snare, as a miser's one-of at least, due to its higher flexibility.
I've taken this build for a few spins around the Cockatrice block, and although the competition leaves something to desire on the client, I'm very impressed. I've won plenty of games that I'd...
I really want to test this as well, but I really don't want to drop sixty bucks on two more Nemesises (Nemesi?).
I'm running the same, but with a miser's Dismember for Goyfs, Batterskull etc, and it still kills DRS et al.
@All: I've done some more updates to the sideboarding guide, swapped the example...
2 RUGs in the T8 in Cincinnati yesterday! Both traditional lists with the usual creaturebases, both with 2x Probe in the main!
I quite like this list. For a short while, before I swapped over to Team America (shame on me!), I played RUG with 4 Delver, 4 Mongoose, 3 Goyf, 1 TNN, with 3 Spell Pierce, 1 FB, 1 Dismember, 1 Spell...
This summed up my opinions on Gitaxian Probe very well. I think I'll include it in the primer in some shape, if that's ok with you?
Thanks for the input, guys. Hopefully I'll get some spare time towards the weekend to update the primer some more.
I've updated the primer with match-up analyses and sideboarding tips for the DTBs and UWR Delver. If you have the time, feel free to read through it and tell me what you think.
I agree that bringing in Submerge in the mirror is correct. It seems that a lot of the mirror matches are boiled down to Tarmogoyf and Submerge, unfortunately. Sometimes they are really...
I say bring Submerge vs Elves every time, more removal is always good, they also run lots of shuffle effects to make Submerge a more "proper" removal, rather than a time walk.
Thanks for for the...
RUG players, assemble!
Working on the sideboard and match-up guide now, and you can see the very seeds in the second post in the thread.
I need proper boarding plans, however, and I don't keep...
I think WOrb might be good in certain meta games. If the room is full of Miracles, I'd side 2 or so, they make Daze really unfair, even against control, but especially against stuff like Jund.
Poxy is on a roll, congrats!
I think it's way too narrow.
