I think the 2 Chain of Vapor are my most important/used sideboard cards. It works against almost all forms of permanent hate (I don't board them vs Miracles, but in many many many other matchups)....

Thanks for the info =)!
10-5 is still a nice result
Soldier Stompy :eyebrow:?
I've had some fun with storm today! Last time I played the finals with Deathblade and I've made use of some DTT decks lately (love to cast that card). 6-3 no byes with Omnitel at the GP, with that...
As your opponent in round 6 I say 'nice title' ;)! Thanks for your report, I was waiting for it!
Show and Tell --> Omniscience: draw, draw, draw, draw, ponder --> probe --> preordain (bottom...
Jamie played 4 Preordain to 12th place in Lille... He never liked it, but now chose for consistency and it payed out :)!
I don't see Grim Tutor as much as before :O People prefer lists with 4...
It looked like he wants to choose between those two cards, so I told him I would stick to Flusterstorm. Should have mentioned your point, I know they are not really comparable.
I would stick to Flusterstorm. In a lot of situations it will be better than pyroblast vs Show and Tell, and you can even side it in vs discard and/or stifle decks or other combo =)!
Stop comparing Flusterstorm with Duress. I'm not siding out discard, nor do I have extra copies in my sideboard.
If they strip flusterstorm the same turn they go off I'm just lost, if they strip it...
I'm not saying I side out discard? Flusterstorm should at least be worth playing on the play, when you have the chance to counter their early discard. You will probably say that you'd rather have the...
Yeah, because 70% of the Elves players don't play a mix of 5-6 duress/cabal therapy? I think Flusterstorm is great! Maybe think of a different plan on the play vs on the draw, but I'm not sure. Also...
When I spoke to Jamie this weekend he was even considering cutting Empty entirely from the 75, because every deck has TNN hate that wipes our goblins.. It is risky to go for 12 goblins like we used...
I described a game that actually happened.. I was only mentioning that besides playing through soft-counters, Carpet also enables you to cantrip/sculpt a nice hand/do SOMETHING when you don't want to...
Well maybe I think too much about a game vs a stifle heavy hand ^_^, where I started and cast Carpet. A little later I was cantripping with 2 fetchland open, untill I found the Therapy to get rid of...
Most of the time you get more mana vs UWR, and against RUG Carpet helps a lot to play around Stifle. And I've seen people throw Force and Pierce against Carpet, so it does its job most of the time....
You side in Xantid Swarm vs UWR Delver? And also RUG? That is not very common right =)
I also want to ask you about Massacre. Do you also side him in versus Blade Control, or do you rely on Chain...
Yeah Broadbraid Elf is so slow (and you don't want to hit blasts or sweepers with no targets), I also see it being cut when playtesting. But Jund is certainly a deck where people can do a lot of...
I checked and you are right! Cory Teran (#2 SCG Vegas) played a list that supports my statement, but most others seem to play 2/3 bolt. Anyway, Jund was not in the list of decks (where Bob is good to...
Bob was indeed not good enough vs Jund. Liliana or bolt removes it too fast (but punishing jund boards out punishing fire and doesn't play bolt, so that makes it little worse), and you will not be...
Confidant is awesome vs Esperblade, Deathblade, Shardless BUG, BUG Tempo/Team America and even Miracles! But most of the time you want Ad Nauseam aswell, so that could be problematic. But when I play...
