Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)

I lost to Hyze's nahiri today. I laughed when I saw his name in game on MTGO. The mirror match is weird :)

I sat next to another mono red sneak attack player in round 11 or 12 with a white boarded deck. Was this you?

Also batterskull gets around a humility, actually it gives us a 5/5 vigilance life linker

Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)

That's a wonky manabase. I'd hope the missing card is a land.

Nahiri solves some problems for the deck but it's too slow. We also have no way of protecting her. I feel that if we get her to...

Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)

It's worth testing but I am not sold on this guy. He can easily be chumped. And his ETB trigger can go many ways. Why not just add more inferno Titans?

Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)

Those are all already in the thread.

The best piece of advice is to learn how to mulligan. It is extremely relevant because this deck is bad at mulliganing.
You need to keep a hand with action....

Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)

It's too slow. Your also not running chalice. This is a chalice deck. It helps protect us from discard and having our fatties swords'd. Putting in an unhasted blight steel doesnt seem that great.

Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)

The batterskull is great because it is cast able and recastable. It also gets around humility.

    1. We don't have enough infect creatures in the deck. You could land 9 infect and then what? He doesn't fit the plan.
    2. We are a proactive deck, not reactive

Re: Big Red (Mono-R Sneak Attack)

I take out the blood moons, I keep chalice in on the play. Many times they keep greedy one landers with vial. A chalice on one can really damper them. You need to win fast vs them.
