    Re: [Deck] MUD (Metalworker)

Not really, first of all the name of the deck MUD originated from "mud", the english word for "sludge", "mire" and so on.
So the so called "Legend MUD" version with no creatures and more mana ramps...

    Re: [Deck] MUD (Metalworker)

Not against Legend MUD. I'm playing 2x Bridge myself as you can see from my list few posts above; if Eldrazi Stompy really becomes a real Legacy deck the number probably should be upped as MGB said.

    Re: [Deck] MUD (Metalworker)

So after two more weeks of testing of Legend MUD on Cockatrice, here my latest list and considerations.

    Legend MUD

    4 Ancient Tomb
    3 City of Traitors
    4 Cloudpost
    4 Glimmerpost
    3 Vesuva

    Re: [Deck] MUD (Metalworker)

I made a typo in the original list, i'm playing 3 Thran Dynamo and not 4, so the mana rocks are

    4 Grim Monolith
    4 Basalt Monolith
    3 Thran Dynamo
    2 Hedron Archive

    Hedron is good with it's...

I always wanted to test Tangle Wire but feared to ruin the Post MUD stock list; can you share your actual list with sideboard so at least i have a good starting point?

    Re: [Deck] MUD (Metalworker)

In my experience the Death & Taxes matchup is a 50/50 one, both decks can win and the games usually are not short. Actually i really like to play this matchup cause the games are tightrope most of...

I use Faerie Macabre against graveyard decks, uncounterable and it works under your own Trinisphere/Chalice of the Void.

    Re: [Deck] MUD (Metalworker)

It seems REALLY good to me your score of 4-1 vs Patriot cause i always have an hard time to win against that deck (and Canadian too); i play the 12Post version. I'm curious to see your decklist.

It's my opinion that Chalice of the void is one of the worst card we have against Merfolk, stopping Ęther Vial is huge yes but pratically your only opportunity to do it it's turn 1...

The % to have AT LEAST one Chalice of the void and one City of Traitors OR one Ancient Tomb is 26,1%

    Source --> http://deckstats.net/

This means that 1 game out of 4 you'll get it t1 on the play
