    Re: [PRIMER] U/W/x Countertop Superfriends

I would say splash black for vindicate before beast within, that way things like Lim Dul's Vault and the sided Confidant can happen. Also, black allows for perish, plague, and extripate in the...

    Re: [PRIMER] U/W/x Countertop Superfriends

What don't you like about running the three colors? I would think that the option of siding Dark Confidant should be more than enough, along with Lim Dul and Vindicate, to add the third color

I agree with him going aggro with vendy. In both games the Bant player really got screwed and couldn't do much. So taking advantage was the right choice.

    Re: [PRIMER] U/W/x Countertop Superfriends

Mental Misstep I believe fits in with Spell Snare, and honestly the counter spell set up should be like, 2 Mental, 2 Snare, 2 Counterspell. Of course needing to be tested but Mental is going to...

    Re: [PRIMER] U/W/x Countertop Superfriends

Ok well in terms of speed we can agree it is slower than Firespout and the same speed of Wrath. Another issue is that if you are facing any GW deck, it is basically useless. Pridemage kills it...

    Re: [PRIMER] U/W/x Countertop Superfriends

I don't agree on Shackles, I have found it very slow. I'd rather play green for goyf because goblins really can't deal with a tarmogoyf. Between goyf and all the removal goblins shouldn't be the...

    Re: [PRIMER] U/W/x Countertop Superfriends

I think the only decks that survive the opening of massive hand removal then big creature is dredge and um, can't think of much that can survive it

    Re: [PRIMER] U/W/x Countertop Superfriends

Well then we go into the whole 3cc issue, while yes the 3cc helps with CB especially against Junk but wouldn't you rather spend that 3cc on something like Clique? Also, land disruption decks, good...

    Re: [PRIMER] U/W/x Countertop Superfriends

The issue with esper charm i feel is that it really doesn't do anything other cards can't do better. blue has enough draw cards that also decide what you are drawing next, black has hymn, and...

    Re: [PRIMER] U/W/x Countertop Superfriends

I agree with Lemnear about Clique. Also, I don't really see why Moat is sided and why 2. Why don't you main 1? Because Elspeth is in the main all of your creatures can fly over moat. Also, if you...

    Re: [Deck] CounterTop Thopter

My main question is the lack of either the teched 1 Tezzeret or the lack of Trinket Mage. Seems to give the deck a lot more consistency.

    Re: [DTW] CounterTop

If explosives is getting run why not try academy ruins? Would it be because with 4 colors the mana base wouldn't be consistent enough?

Re: [Deck] Deadguy Ale (B/w Confidant)

How does the deck beat Affinity?
  15. Re: Tested BG Infect. Worked suprisingly well. Please comment.

Thoughts on Phyrexian Crusader? Pro swords is fun. Also, top decks have issues getting 3 drop to counter it. Also, first strike with a boost helps take out powerful goyf's
