i know we don't have access to insider sales numbers as to what todays magic players like to play/buy... but i'm really in the mood to play legacy/modern and i feel that we're expected to just play...
I think wotc let something good get away from them. It was once a popular format with players. And they could have targeted masters sets towards legacy too.
so anyway

Apparently those game keeper stores in the malls I used to go to as a kid were owned by wotc. Maybe they should have never closed those. Maybe their revenue would be better if they still had these...
now I imagine this guy writing travel guides about how 95% of a city is beautiful and great and here are places that had good food every time I ate there but always with this disclaimer
How do you prove the product is faulty?
i played with a 30 card sideboard one time
I think tescrin made some good points. I think weaving in your hand and graveyard after a game and then mash shuffling a good number of times could actually be better for randomization. Versus say,...
youtube is freaking out over the changes... apparently there are changes to modern too which is making everyone upset. i don't know, nothing else is going on right now so i guess i'll read some...
Something seems off about that guys inquisitions and dark confidants too. The inquisitions are too dark? Idk.
Why doesn't he sell them as proxies? Playsets still go for $20 to $25. I know Ebay hates...
would sinkhole be too strong for modern?
this is why i said moonraker (and others) weren't making sense, i thought they were looking too far into seths arguments. forgive me if it was a little candid, i had been up since 6 that day.
and...
kinda aimed @ non-inflammable; I sold most of my legacy stuff when shops in my area moved to proxy tournaments. I didn't care for my dual lands getting destroyed by print outs of wasteland. Too many...
This moonraker guy isn't making any sense
Been buying ultra pro inners for 2 years now. They've recently upped their game, the sleeves used to be too tight and the card would bend. But for the last year or so they've been perfect, I like...
I think people will always want what they can't have. Even if modern cards got super cheap, then people will want legacy stuff, and then power nine, ect. And then there's always counterfeit rolex...
I have no problem with people buying these cards (okay maybe some problem) but people really shouldn't be trading them away or even using them in tournaments. Of course, that's probably wishful...
high prices killed pogs, pretty much everyone sold their stuff online where the foreigners went and bought it. it now has a scene only in parts of europe, where some pro's are really good at...
also, not liking frontier as i feel it diverts attention away from standard and modern. despite frontier having massive print runs, i think cards can be expensive. flip jace is what, 40-ish now? i...
recently i've been singing a different tune about reprints. i'm usually heavily in favor of reprints, but with modern being slow in my area and with all the stuff going on with standard and frontier,...
I hate borrowing decks.
Any deck north of $500 is getting to be too much in my opinion. Death and taxes still needs Rishadan port. Eldrazi stompy needs all those sol lands. its pretty much the...
true, i see these people who complain of the price of modern/legacy but when i go through their trade binders, they easily have $1000 worth of stuff they're never gonna use.
I'd say i'm pretty...
i'm jealous/mad, all the shops within an hour in my area switched over to proxies a couple years ago. i sold off my ant/dredge/charbelcher/oops all spells stuff shortly afterwards. i don't like...
besides, legacy is a proxy format anyway. unless you religiously play in grand prix's, these cards have no tournament value anymore. they may as well reprint away.
