I feel you Matt, I feel you.
Or . . . road trip! . . . To Amsterdam!
I'm sorry, my post was unclear. The Extract deck that runs Extract, Sad Sac, Extirpate, Bitter Ordeal, and all the other "search target player's library for X number of cards, then exile them" with...
Ha, I actually tried that exact deck out a few months ago.
It absolutely wrecks combo decks that go off turn 2-3, and DESTROYS DDFT. It loses to like, everything else.
The Extract Deck +...
If you want, you could make a magic.TCGplayer.com account and input every card you own into a "deck" and see what number it spits out for the average.
It's because since this is a Legacy board, trading highly sought-after pieces like a Moat for type II cards is looked down upon. :P
Congrats on the win Adam! Sorry we split paths afterwards;...
I had that problem too until I tried exploring.
Once you download it, launch "Oracle". Go to the file menu and click "download (something or another)".
Then you can download the sets.
After...
Thanks everyone for the positive remarks!
@ Vacrix: Yeah I found that out afterwards, about the Spring. Also getting Wasteland'd sucks. The MD Leyline was gimmicky, and if I were to play the...
That's cool. I'd imagine it'd be the deck to run 2x Mox Opal too.
On another note, it looks like Proliferate is going to be a major ability, even attached to Instants:
...
I know it's just so insane, but I thought with more sac outlets, it would become a dead card frequently. After testing, though, DI was WAAAY worse. The deck is already sick with draw4's and IT/LED,...
I thought that was the reason the OP list included Break Asunder. Because otherwise it's going to cost 5 to do the same thing.
This looks really interesting. You should call it Preanimator. :)
I'd look at it like this:
"Preanimation Spells"
4x Show and Tell
2x Natural Order
Library Filters
4x Personal Tutor
I really liked the idea of Thallid, so I replaced Uktabi Drake (which was never really necessary since the deck tends to get enough storm already).
I can't help but feel Diabolic Intent would...
@Plague Sliver: I do remember! Especially your great play to bait my fetchland with Pithing Needle and Stifling it anyways. :P
And thanks to all of you for your positive feedback. :) I love this...
So I'm still relatively new to Legacy, but I'm also incredibly interested in making and trying out new decks as well as improving my game. I thought a great way to do this was to begin writing...
I was about to say the same thing. In the same respect, you can really slow-roll this deck if you have to for whatever reason.
If a discard suite were to be added, what would be removed? Usually...
Oh I totally forgot that I don't run Forests. :P Change made.
@ kicks: The biggest problem is running into creature removal or killing the Salvagers. Do you have suggestions for protection?
I love how Auriok Salvagers + LED gives you so much interaction.
I saw Salvager Game, but, not content with Green and loving how storm decks play, I came up with the following list:
3 Auriok...
I'm personally really looking forward to try and brew something for Standard and Legacy. Poison Aggro / Combo just sounds like it has potential.
In my own experience, if you're running enough fetchlands, as in DDFT, Ponder is essentially the same as Preordain, except that it can also shuffle all three unwanted cards (look at the top 3, find a...
Because of metairony. :)
I personally really like this deck's idea, since it's like ANT but you can run Force.
So I read that one of the problems is that the deck is having enough instant-speed...
I think you should also play Leyline of the Void or Planar Void to deal with other Eldrazi or Dredge decks that would thank you.
Also, Temple Bell + Mind over Matter would give you an additional...
Of course with the recent GP looking at this incredibly odd tech, I was testing it out in my DDFT deck and played against a Dredge player over the kitchen table.
Shared Fate
Stinkweed Imp
...
I think you need some way to deal with the counterbalance player who floats a 3-drop on top.
Maybe Qasali Pridemage or an Aura Mutation so you can tutor it.
So I've been playing DDFT for a while now, and just picked up the last 3 Iggy's. I'm looking into making this deck, and tried out the following build:
Next Level Iggy
Win Conditions [ 9 ] ( 9 )...
Ha, didn't even know they did that. :P
I actually like that list more than mine for all that it does.
