Took 2nd (out of 22) this past weekend with the following list:
8 Plains
3 Flagstones of Trokair
3 Karakas
4 Wasteland
4 Rishadan Port
3 Mother of Runes
4 Serra Avenger
Its also not uncommon for Goblins to start with Vial on turn 1 which nullifies quite a bit of your mana denial strategy. I don't think it would be too uncommon for them to Vial in a Warchief turn 4...
Which hurts more: Your opponent getting an extra basic land or your opponent replaying a cheap threat that you've already had to use 1 removal spell on? Using Oust on a Lackey or Mom is a waste...
I think this is the best way to look at Path for D&T.
I only board mine in when I know I'm going against an aggro deck. In those situations I don't really care if they get the extra ramp since...
Oust has potential as you mentioned, but for most of the creatures you mentioned, I'd rather give them a land (if they even have any basics left) and be permanently done with said creature rather...
CoP: Red also works against Progenitus, so it has that going for it as well.

Thanks.
Re: Sylvan Library/Mirri's Guile/Sensei's Divining Top:
I thought about Mirri's Guile (I think you had suggested it last week), but I like the option of drawing extra cards if needed. ...
Split for 1st again last night with an updated version of the GW build I played last week:
4 Plains
1 Forest
4 Savannah
2 Horizon Canopy
4 Windswept Heath
3 Karakas
4 Wasteland
I played a W/g version last night at our weekly tournament. 13 players.
Lands - 22
4 Plains
1 Forest
4 Savannah
2 Horizon Canopy
3 Karakas
4 Wasteland
4 Windswept Heath
Ah, apologies then. I should have even realized it doesn't say "target" as well. Thanks for the correction.
Unless they're casting Firestorm or have Zealot in play I fail to see how it blows out Bridge since you need a red source to target in order to use it. And if Zealot is on the board I doubt they...
