Cheers, thanks
Odd situation came up on MTGO, and I got a reimbursement, but I wanted to make sure the reimbursement was correct and that I understand the interaction.
Opponent has a Dauthi Voidwalker in play...
I was watching one of his videos, mono black in this one, and he happened to talk about why he likes Calvary at the beginning. Basically, filtering, the fact that the token copies trigger off each...
I saw this finish from a small tournament a few days ago

I saw this top 8 from a few days ago
// Sorcery (7)
4 Creative Technique
3 Let the Galaxy Burn
// Creatures (15)
1 Aeve, Progenitor Ooze
2 Apex Devastator
3 Aurora Phoenix
My feeling is that it's a different situation because regular Oops has Force of Vigor, and because it has fewer mana rocks and casts more pacts, in terms of casting and activating it over two turns...
That's promising, very cool. How many times did you live the draw 12 or draw 6 dreams, or was it not a factor?
I haven't played standard Oops in over a year, so I can't answer that with confidence. It's an interesting question, and it would be cool to run numbers on it. The standard build has more cards that...

I took the cool build from Syracuse's 5-0 a week ago for a spin on MTGO tonight, and I got a 5-0 in the very first league. Felt great.
Jeskai Control 2-1
Aluren 2-1
Naya Maverick 2-0
Ruby Storm...
You've been Thoughtseized
Interesting card that could be used in a few ways, but how about an Artifact-y or Lands-y Dreadnought build with Saga.

Related in a big way to this deck, it's crazy to me that Brainstorm/FoW/Ponder now have competition for being the most-played nonland card in Lotus Petal (albeit a mana card), in the last two weeks....
A day or two ago, this happened to me after a bunch of creatures were chain-milled. I had no idea what was happening. Ended up winning through it

If it were black I guess this would have been considered in Curses, idk, I'm only vaguely familiar with the deck

Have any other cards been given creature type reach besides dragonreach? This is the only one I found

Sweet! Thanks
Easy answer I think, but I just wanted to double check. The Karn, the Great Creator + Mycosynth Lattice lock doesn't do anything complicated to Urza's Saga, like Blood Moon does, right? i.e. It gets...
Yeah, he actually cascaded into Blood Moon in both post board games. Like you said, cascading into Astrolabe is prob. underwhelming even if it replaces itself, but I'm sort of intrigued by the...
I just played against a Jund deck with Arcum's Astrolabe and the ability to play Blood Moon; seemed sweeet.
How about one with 2 Smallpoxes? Just saw this posted; another interesting maybe sort of Pox probably MBC list, top 8 in an 89-player tournament in Italy last week
// 24 Lands
1 Bojuka Bog

Interesting to see Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet in a list; I hadn't seen that before. 5th place in a 40-player tournament:
// Creatures (9)
2 Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet
3 Grave Titan
4 Veteran...
I just played a League match against what appeared to be a BUrg list. I saw Dark Ritual, Thoughtseize, Infernal Tutor, and Duress in :b:, Brain Freeze, Ponder, and Preordain in :u:, Underworld Breach...
