    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

Dark Confidant and Tireless Tracker are the engines to take advantage of LotV, but I also think she is more than a 1 of utility card. The mana base is super doable with 4 forests 3 swamps, 4 bayou...

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

You also get access to double black spells much earlier in the game. I have been strongly considering Hymns and Lilliana as a way to fight combo decks while our engines come alive.

    You also get...

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

So Hymn for seize or brutality?

Hymn is just really powerful and gets free wins itself. I also love having a real weapon against combo on turn 2.

As the legacy challenges and new lists come...

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

I am at the point where I feel like BG has enough tools to compete with the format. The stable manabase + explorers are the best ramp, GSZ and Crop Rotation are the best tutors and Tireless Tracker...

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

On turn 5 of the first game, couldn't he have just made a Progenitus to block the thought knot seer? Fetch for dryad arbor, play natural order? Then he could have decayed Jitte and played out his...

    Love this.

I think you need the dryad arbor to search for to start the Leap chain in worst case scenarios. 1

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

I was searching the internet and just discovered Altar of Bone, has there ever been a GW Nic Fit Build that could turn 2 Altar away a Veteran Explorer into a Gaddock Teeg(against combo obvi)?

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

Do you guys have any thoughts to Nic Fit variations resembling the old Survival of the Fittest lists that were all toolbox? The problem with the old Survival lists is that they were garbage without...

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

I will say as someone who always reads this thread and has played against a lot of nic fit: builds with Deed are much better than builds without.

Being able to ramp everyone and then clear...

    Re: [Primer] Nic Fit

My opinion has always bee veteran explorer/cabal therapy into...
