    Re: [Deck] Merfolk

    Nope, it should be:

    4 Coursecatcher
4 Silvergill Adept(I honestly can't understand why you woul ever want Augur instead of Adept. Adept is probably the best card in the deck.)
    4 Lord of Atlantis...

    Re: [DTB] Merfolk

i would say that even with survival, it's not so easy to recover from perish.
They have to topdeck another creature card , discard it to SotF, search for a rotwalla, discard with madness to search...

    Re: [DTB] Merfolk

currently i play 2 spell pierce maindeck, with one more SB. They're great with all the targets you mentioned above, plus they help against EE (for example they force opponent to stay with only 1 mana...

    Re: [DTB] Merfolk

Yeah but you cnat run 4 jitte sb. And 2 jitte are not enough to beat em, unless you got it connected turn 3. So i think 2 jittes + 3 plagues is good. If you play manaramp merfolk, use Tsabo's decree....

'bout hibernation, is a really strong card, and i used to run it sb for a while, but bouncing seems worse than destroying, idk for...

    Re: [DTB] Merfolk

nope. Though 1 plague doesnt kill piledrivers, kills lackeys, matrons and suddendly siege gangs becomes ''almost'' useless. And you know, having a piledriver attacking with 3 other creature is way...

    Re: [DTB] Merfolk

Merfolk is a deck wich runs the 2 most powerful cards under standstill: Manlands (in the form of Mutavaults) and Aether vial. The only other card wich is really broken under standstill and we can't...

Cosi could be a staple in T1 Merfolk if anybody tries it. No chanche to do good in legacy.
Sejiri is very good but in my opinion does'nt justify weaking your manabase. If you really want to make...

    Re: [DTB] Merfolk

first of all, sygg river cutthroat and cold eyed selkie are subpar ways to make card advantage. Though probably i'd play cutthroat in a UR list because of the lightning bolts, i mean, with cutthroat...

    Re: [DTB] Merfolk

i've never heard of a TES/ANT players who doesnt protect their combo with at least 1 duress AND 1 orim's chant. So basically unless you dont have 2 spell pierce and 2 stifles in hand, stifle will...

Ur Merfolk. Interesting. But what MU gets improved by putting 4 bolts and 4 lavamancers maindeck?
Also, you say that '' I came up with this list that has been phenomenal in testing for me so far''....

    Re: [DTB] Merfolk

B2B is a strong card with a possible gamebreaking effect for sure, but its 3cmc makes it very undesiderable for a deck who plays at least 6 cmc3 drops and 12 cmc 2 drops. Could be SB material, and...

    Re: Mono U

i have dredge/loam in my meta, so yeah the grave is a pain in the ass. Aggroloam more than dredge, though.

sure. but keep in mind that dredge players expect artifacts, and planar void comes pretty unexpected. Also Planar is a continuous effect, while tormod's and relic effects are not. Leyline is not my...

Maybe is only matter of different metagames, but i would not laugh at seeing burn-gobbo-zoo-bant aggro in a row as pairings.

that's exactly why i play 2 in sb. Too strong. Is the better answer we can ghave to show and tell / sneak attack.

    Re: [DTB] Merfolk

I agree. MH is just perfect in this role, as it turns your extra wastelands and Mutavaults in extra turns beating with a 5/6.
It's also very useful if you dropped an early Vial, as you can drop EOT...
