After some testing I have to conclude that Visions of Beyond + Snapcaster is incredible.
With those, you really need just one or two mill spells to "go off".
In my experience you really never want to cut Hedron Crab. Its just too good (and reusable, without mana investment) to not play 4 of them.

I assume the "by spells and ablilities" clause in Decay is there to make it clear it can be countered upon resolution due to illegal target.
I think Decay is incredible, as there isn't much it...
I was testing it an affinity shell running Genesis Chamber together with Baleful Strix, Esperzoa and Sol lands.
Especially with Esperzoa to reuse the cascade trigger you got some incredible powerful...

In the limited testing I have done so far, I always either sat on a Tax that wouldnt activate (because the opponent just stopped playing land), or I had a bunch of tax triggers and struggled to play...
How about adding Howling Mine effects?
Seems bad, but you actually pretty much always profit more from them than your opponent.
