No its not.
Other formats have superior sweepers such as deluge and damnation, meaning this card will (might) see play in standard, where sweltering suns is a stronger option, hitting 95% (99%?)...
I played in a 72 person tournament and in the first 4 rounds noone went to time.
It was extremely refreshing.
can i have ur cardboard and pixels pls
We really need more seperate lists of banned and restricted cards.
Game was too consistent across platforms, maybe we can have MTGO adapt the heartstone mechanic for mana also, its a lot of fun...
Am pretty happy with the top ban, see no need to ban any other card in legacy atm.
Maybe its time they ubanned survival of the fittest, I don't think it would be easy to make it a faster or more...
DRS is first and foremost a mana dork.
Sure it does other things, but the decks listed in that article could replace them with hierarchs or birds without losing a significant amount of power.

Was bro, its past tense now.
i just changed my nic fit deck
its now called Nic Fit postop
And no deck is played more then miracles.
I guess the number of people playing something is important when it comes to a specific card, not to an archetype?
Please continue to enlighten us with...
I just heard back from my contact at WoTC, they did in fact ban top for the sole reason to grief you, no other reasons are involved.
Well, glad that's cleared out.
15% of the field plays it cuz they like the art on tundras I bet.
Sure but none of those cards have the potential to be activated multiple times per turn.
People don't fetch 10+ times / game, one player with top will often top ten times in one game.
I am sure Wizards is taking the time argument into account, but them mentioning "a lot of people...
happy its gone, some people just far to slow with it
Its pretty funny, does anyone really think wizards is going to make a non-rotating format with 98% of staples no longer in boosters more popular?
Wizards isn't reprinting dual lands because they...
This is from the "20 lessons we learned about MTG", from Mark Rosewater:
Lesson #2: Aesthetics matter
The first lesson talked about human behavior. This second lesson talks about human...
everything gets better by adding more I.
AppleI proved that
"plow your mom"
"force of willi"
this is the future of MTG, pretty sure the next plane will be a pokemon one, "its just such a rich world to get inspiration from"
cards are hard to read, artwork is small, they hardly have any elements in common with the cards we are used to
MaRo asking feedback after the design is finalized and printed, gets roasted but has...
This is just WOTC saying "you suspected we are idiots, we'll prove it for you"
Its especially hilarious when you consider MKM offers tournament organizers prize support and smaller stuff (pens,...
I have literally never been to an event where beer wasn't on the card.
Well to be really honest there was GP Utrecht were Heineken was sold on the venue, but Dutch folks are crazy anyway.
Why not just ban every card in rotation?
Good for sales and new players can buy a new set booster and be right up there with the veterans, collection-wise!
The first 6 months of the format will...
Too bad their R&D keeps making it into rock/paper/bazooka/fighter jet.
I don't understand people playing standard. That is all. :)
