Re: [Deck] Dreadstill - Enter the Fist

Hey Fox ! I've seen you're a long time dreadstill player. Could you please share your UR list??
I'm revisiting this archtype, looks awesome
  2. Re: [Deck] Canadian Threshold (aka RUG Delver, Tempo Thresh)

Another reasoning that I've been thinking a lot is : what if instead of playing all untargetable, resilient creatures like mongoose and TNN, we could play only targetable but stronger, faster...
  3. Re: [Deck] Canadian Threshold (aka RUG Delver, Tempo Thresh)

Aggro RUG might gotten better now with 4 Narnam Renegate, Delver and Hooting Mandrils tho.
  4. Re: [Deck] Canadian Threshold (aka RUG Delver, Tempo Thresh)

Perhaps you should play 1 Green Sun Zenith 5th mongoose in matches where you take all other creatures out.
Looking forward for your blog posts. Cheers.
  5. Re: [Deck] Canadian Threshold (aka RUG Delver, Tempo Thresh)

This is beautifully written . Keep it up mate !
  6. Re: [Deck] Canadian Threshold (aka RUG Delver, Tempo Thresh)

All of our cards interact really well with Orb. It feels like blood moon in a Blue Moon deck, of course the effect is symmetrical we are just better at handling it.
Perhaps we should stop seeing it...
  7. Re: [Deck] Canadian Threshold (aka RUG Delver, Tempo Thresh)

A great weapon against Grixis is ROUGH/TUMBLE. It just dismantle their creatures, but angler. Hold dismember for it and it's all good!
  8. Re: [Deck] Canadian Threshold (aka RUG Delver, Tempo Thresh)

What's your plan against the Eldrazi Stompy deck? I havent found comfortable to play em yet.
  9. Re: [Deck] Canadian Threshold (aka RUG Delver, Tempo Thresh)

    Hi everyone.
How do we do against the emerging Eldrazy Stompy? Any SB tech in mind?
    Cheers..

How do you guys feel about the new NATURAL STATE? Seems like a great addition against MUD, Stoneblade decks...

    Re: [DTB] bUrg Tempo

Guys, I'm currently playing the 3trop,2volcanic,1see version. WHat is the best swipper for the current meta?

    ***Sudden Demise
    ***Golgari Charm
    *** Fire Covenant
    *** Eletrickery
    *** Forked Bolt...
  12. Re: [Deck] Canadian Threshold (aka RUG Delver, Tempo Thresh)

I wonder why people choose vortex in their SB. Isn't true name just a better card for the same role? (He is quite untouchable and 3damage has more reach)

    Re: [Deck] Dredge

Are 3 Leyline of the Void enough? I've been changing my mind between this and faerie macabre. However, when should I sideboard those 3 cards in? Only against dredge and reanimator?

    Re: [Deck] Dredge

Can you post the sideboard at least?
I've been playing the straight version of the deck, and the combo in the sideboard with 3 dread return, 2 griselbrand and 1 flame-kin. I've been doing well so...

    Re: [Deck] bUrg

Hmm, I've been successful with a grixis approach and a different set of creatures. The sideboard needs improvement.

    19lands: 8 fetch , 4 wasteland , 3 volcanic , 3 underground sea , 1 tropical ...
  16. Re: [Deck] Canadian Threshold (aka RUG Delver, Tempo Thresh)

I've been running a list with 04 H. Mandrils instead of mongoose, and playing 3 tarfire and 3 stuborn denial in cocktrice, and the deck hasnt lost a game yet. So far so good.

    Re: [Primer/Deck] U/G Infect

    Ive been trying this list:

    12 creatures
    19 lands
    10 pump
    4 bs
    4 ponder
    4 probe
    3 TREASURE CRUISe
  18. Re: [DTB] Canadian Threshold (aka RUG Delver, Tempo Thresh)

Why dont people just substitute mongoose for DRS ? Burg tempo seams to be a great shell for cruise, and stifle would still be active in our old strategy.

    UR Tempo Delve

I've been thinkning in a deck that exploits the maximum interaction between pyromancer and the new delve ancestral recall. What do you think ? Is nivmagus good enough in the the deck? I am supposing...

    Re: [Deck] U/R Delver

I think the idea of the deck seams right, however, I am not positive that stifle would fit in a pyromancer-cantrip shell. Here we are looking to cantrip and deploy treats and make dudes. We cannot...

    Re: UR Delve Burn

This remind me of a very of article written by Patrick Sullivan (http://www.starcitygames.com/article/23732_Legacy-Week---Burn.html).

Cutting all creatures for burn and brainstorms seamed good in...
  22. Re: [DTB] Canadian Threshold (aka RUG Delver, Tempo Thresh)

Hey guys, I was thinking about another awesome interaction that the new guy could provide, and it is that with him and goyf is possible to trade 2 pierce for 2 STUBBORN DENIAL, which is a big deal in...
  23. Re: [DTB] Canadian Threshold (aka RUG Delver, Tempo Thresh)

I'd love to play with this card, the idea of dodging conterbalance, tnn or even RiP is really convincing. But, we also need to remember that there are SUBMERGES. And thay are really good job by...

Re: [Deck] Dreadstill - Enter the Fist

Do you think that the new planeswalker from conspiracy could fit in this deck?
It can fullfil the graveyard for Lavamancer and snapcaters... While refining your draws to nought+stife combo

    Re: [Deck] UR Nivmagus Tempo

I've been developing a similar UR Nivmagus Tempo deck. The ideia is to deny mana, tempo play, counters, while nivmagus wins some counters. Take a look, and feel confortable to test. PS: I thoght that...
