My bad, don't know why I called it a replacement effect.
The Dark Depths counters get put on before the replacement effect of blood moon comes into effect. Where as Solemnity will always prevent the counters from being put on Dark Depths.
Does this guy have sideboard potential?

I don't like bringing in tracker against DnT, my main plan is to grind them out and try to control the board. But against Miracles Bringing in 4 tracker can be extremely back breaking and is...
Been trying it out myself in local tournaments and it seems better than port in most matchups. Not only can you use it to ghost people out, you can use it to take people off of certain colors of...
Agreed, it's better to have your opponents main deck removal spells be dead.
To those running TT in their sideboards, where are you boarding it in besides miracles?
Is playing cards that make the game go long or go slow the same as playing slow? Pretty sure there are a lot of miracles players who do this intentionally all the time. They will make lines of play...
when against burn you either need to race them, or lock them out with glacial chasm.
I just started playing with the black splash in lands and was wondering what matchups if any are people boarding in Dark Confidant besides miracle? Or is that really the only matchup that you would...
I have never tried out a build with abrupt decay + punishing fire. Most people find that 3 decay + 3 molten vortex is enough to deal with whatever creatures or threats your opponents can throw at...
I would never cut a exploration, it may be the best card in the deck. Manabond can be great, but it can also be awkward if you have a hand that needs to keep a card that can't be brought back from...
The only games I have ever lost to eldrazi was when they drop chalice on 1 early in the game t1, or t2.
Will do. I am trying out the black splash for the firs time and going to have 3 tireless tracker and 1 bob in my board.
Has anyone considered tireless tracker as a sideboard option instead of dark confidant in the black version or just as an option in r/g? Lets go over the pros and cons of tireless tracker compared...
Yeah, probably. Lots of strange things happened this tournament.
I only played against it twice, The first time was against Gerry T, but I beat him with two fast kills turn 4 the first game and turn 3 the second. Nothing much he could have done. I lost to my...
Yeah, the only match that grove was really good for me was DnT. Every other match I won with Merit Liege or the one of Molten Vortex in the side.
Came in 17th :( Came close to a top 8. Seems I am the only one who showed up with a more traditional R/G lands build. http://sales.starcitygames.com//deckdatabase/displaydeck.php?DeckID=99284
I'll try to ask him if he doesn't top 8.
Probably not great. Miracles will most likely be bringing in graveyard hate already, and can just terminus him to the bottom of your deck.
Put my first result up with the deck at the IQ that was hosted near the recent SCG event in NJ. ...
