Trygon Predator? What is this, Vintage? :D
If they're on ANT and you're on the play I'd say an aggressive T1 play is OK. TES, or on the draw and I'd hold up Stifle.
Be crazy, play a manabase of wooded foothills and misty rainforests, play a dryad arbor in the board. :P
Huh? O_o
It's 3cc, max. Doesn't hit their robots, CC1 so doesn't get past Chalice, stops Jitte/Swords but not Batterskull.
It has applications, maybe, but not against those two decks. I'd look...
It's also super good removal against Agents and Strixes.
I'd say it's probably pretty even, tilting on one side or another depending on build (Oozes/WRP, amount of burn), and a pretty fragile matchup (who has more broken lands) where small edges spiral out...
Just to post here so you don't feel alone with your headache, Elves would love to:
- Have a lot of combo hate in the board that ideally allows it to develop at the same time.
- Can't play Teeg...
?
They're both 8-drops with Delve. Nothing prevents you from casting Cruise as 1U: Draw 3.
Needle or Null Rod. Stoneforge decks hate Null Rod.
It may be. Back when I played a ton of ANT I noticed my ability to evaluate a gamestate went down a lot because I used the crapton of free information as a crutch. Took a good while of playing Elves...
Mutation seems iffy to me on paper at least. Basically all of BUG's creatures outclass the 1-2 tokens you get, and as mentioned the bear isn't the scary thing in Shardless Agent. To me using Grudge...
Best thing about Needles though is that you can name Sneak Attack and Griselbrand. F S&T >_<
