    Re: [Deck] Painter-Stone

Yeah that was my problem last well, especially when I had chalice. Had no clue what to take out. I was just shaving numbers of Thirst and Trinket Mage. The more I think about blue blast the more I...

    Re: [Deck] Painter-Stone

Curious to how the testing is going. I'll be playing tomorrow with my list -1 trinket mage, -1 Antiquities War, +2 Urza. Chalices probably will become echoing truth or dismembers

    Re: Pitch Delver

Since your threats are mostly 1 drops, maybe Chart a course to help make up for card disadvantage? Also can just get rid of the pitch spells that are dead in that particular matchup. Could also try...

    Re: DarkDepth-Hogaak

I think relying on opponents to be bad usually isn't the best strategy

    Re: [SCD] Veil of Summer

It's definitely a sick fucking card. I'm trying to think of other reasons to play green in painter though. Only think I can think of immediately is like grudge flashback for Liquimetal coating...

Yeah if Hogaak is the plan you need Satry just to cast it

    Re: Balanced deck rooster

My personal 4 would be Storm, Miracles, Delver flavor (RUG seems to always stand the test of time), and Maverick/DNT.

Not of this World both Lage and Hogaak. It's maybe a too that can help against plows

I'm not on there but you're welcome to share. I'd love feedback. Deck feels like there's something there but more ideas can only help

    Re: [Deck] Painter-Stone

Dunno if this is the correct thread this deck, but it might get more eyes here. And at the end of the day it's still a Painter deck. Just went 3-1 with this at a local. Deck felt pretty absurd.

Re: Magicfest/GP Atlanta 2019 is Legacy!

Gonna try to convince Nedleeds to play the main event for glory.

We'll have to get you out to the Tuskvitational if we do it that weekend

    Re: reserved list crumbling?

I think he meant that shocks were created before the crack down on the reserve list loopholes. Like the FTV and duel deck foils

    Re: reserved list crumbling?

I think the problem is with the way Field is worded, you still have to sacrifice 2 lands regardless. You can get blown out with this sacrifice trigger on the stack they can waste a dual or something...

Inferno Titans or Eldrazi. I think I'd play a gentlemen's Banefire

I don't think any changes are expected in the near future especially since there will be a legacy GP a month from that announcement

    Re: VineTraders

Lol. Yeah forgot DRS having that extra power was good to crew copter. Maybe copter is just bad then. Fetching out Dryad Arbor is a fun surprise copter block though if you want to play that

I played a deck pre-hollow one and such with rootwalla, smugglers copter, vengevines, and stuff that felt somewhat powerful. I think the Mana base was Deathrite Fueled though. Can't remember what...

    Re: [Deck] Strawberry Shortcake

I feel like my biggest struggle with this deck right now is timing the tutors and then also figuring out what to get. Anyone have any advice? How aggressive does everyone get with their ETutor?
  23. Re: Should we embrace the use of MPC proxies in order to prevent legacy’s death?

One of my LGS just approved is to start having a 20 proxy legacy weekly. Weekly legacy has been dead here about a year but here's to hoping the upcoming GP drums up interest
