even if infect becomes a regular deck at events are we really scared of it? yeah they can have explosive starts but so can we. cant see a reason to dedicate sideboard slots to it unless it hits other...
4 chokes doesnt stop as much as blood moon or even back to basics do. he is soft to miracles but im just saying he could drop the 4th natural order and 1 moon and run to null rod or pithing needle...
seriously do we need to look at blood moon as a real thing. guys doing really good with it
what is this craziness on SCG today. an elf mirror and then elves with main deck probes and sideboard bloodmoons
the first parts was about ruric not the angel. i thought i showed that using the word he and not she as when i used she to show i had moved to the angel. everything your saying is what i said, angel...
Lemnear answered your question above about wurm and prog. the angel falls into the same category as ruric, if hes main and you hit high tide or storm you win or its near impossible for you to lose....
I'll try the angel but not for the storm matchup. I'm looking at burn or where their game is to try the beatdown plan. I hear mini prog has nothing on it
Jullian your choice in music is awesome
Dredge is always a bad match for us. They durdle until they win way better than we do. Improving that matchup to me doesn't seem all that important because dredge has fallen out of favor recently....
Ok gentleman coming up here soon we have a massive event in my area...
I'm not a fan of that version unfortunately. I know it's better than all the graveyard I like not having to worry about keeping mana up. I haven't had a problem even running 2 cages. I know that's...
1 Birchlore Rangers
2 Craterhoof Behemoth
4 Deathrite Shaman
4 Elvish Visionary
1 Fyndhorn Elves
3 Heritage Druid
4 Nettle Sentinel
4 Quirion Ranger
1 Ruric Thar, the Unbowed
1 Scavenging...
congrats
grafdiggers cage is amazing but it takes some understanding and the right elf build to utilize it. not that you are in anyway inexperienced at the deck but i had to learn how to play it with elves. i...
i like the 19 lands. use to run 20 with a taiga and 61 maindeck but i was running into mana flooded hands or top decking to many. now it feels a little better. i was trying the 4th NO main this...
Went 4-0 at my local Legacy event without dropping a single game. Played against Sneak and Show, Esper Blade, Lands, and RUG Delver with Stifle. My current list:
1 Birchlore Rangers
2 Craterhoof...
I can see why you would use the planeswalker against control but putting him main-board and not side seems impossible since all you spells go get creatures and not him. and with TNN you cant protect...
dont know if TNN will get banned but i see why having him can help in matches where im just trying to get damage thru
Creatures
1 Birchlore Rangers
2 Craterhoof Behemoth
4 Deathrite Shaman
4 Elvish Visionary
1 Fyndhorn Elves
3 Heritage Druid
1 Llanowar Elves
4 Nettle Sentinel
1 Priest of Titania
thinking krosan grips might go in sideboard if humility is in my meta
thats how you play elves. right into that chalice and resolved.
i completely agree with you. ive only recently started playing elves (before i was an avid player of turbo eldrazi) and i see what your saying. i was only commenting on the fact that elves as a whole...
while it may be true that discard+counter is better i dont believe it to more effective than discard+discard in this case . if you happen to combo off and not have gone for the trop or blue source...
