Well i believe counterbalance serves more as a bait for abrupt decay to clear the path for combo. If opponent leaves counterbalance untouched, congrats to him, he just choose to be locked out of game...

I wouldn't bother with flip jace. JTMS is harder to remove, can work as a removal (if you hold discard after -1) and provide incremental card dvantage and fuel for TITI. Thus can win game on it's...

Point is to have very good land disruption against eldrazi decks, and not loosing efficiency against other decks. Idea of this deck is far away of nic fit, since I'm nic fit player too.

Sinkhole is very linear, and is bad topdeck in mid/late game, well so is hymn to tourach. But hymn is 2for1, and vindicate is never bad topdeck. I could see 1x sinkhole (as a 5th vindicate) instead...
