Re: [Deck] TinFins 3: Return of the Onion Burst

Revised/Unlimited are best for lands: beeing the only white bordered cards in your deck make them easier to find while fetching. It's much more comfortable.

For the dark ritual, I always loved the...

Re: [Deck] TinFins 3: Return of the Onion Burst

I personally like the basic island, as T1 ponder is one of the most common T1 with this deck.

Additionally, it hides what you're playing (most people will put you on storm or rea from fetch > U...

Re: [Deck] TinFins 3: Return of the Onion Burst

Congrats .dk, very great to see you doing so well with the deck!
I'm looking forward to see your report.

I think the moral should be different: you drew 35 cards for the turn, OTD. So you saw...

    Congrats to him!
Great to see results with the deck.

Do you know what SB he was playing?
    His DD one?

Re: [Deck] TinFins 3: Return of the Onion Burst

    Hello,

If you want to build an intermediate between reanimator and tinfins, you'll probably soon see that the middle ground is not so interesting:
    Starting from the tinfins build:
    - if you...

Re: [Deck] TinFins 3: Return of the Onion Burst

Honestly, how often do we lose the game after a T1/2 fizzle?
Usually we end up with 1/2 grisel in the yard, 0 or 2 cabal therapy on the opponent's hand (and generally after at least a probe), and a...

Re: [Deck] TinFins 3: Return of the Onion Burst

I do not play very aggressively.

On the labman point, I do not want to replace SI, it's an addition. Having both is really nice, and you play some piles with both.

    not over. Additionally.

SI is often a double pass the turn pile, while it's quite easy to make a pass the turn pile with Labman. Otherwise I made a lot of SI piles with Labman as a backup (vs...

Re: [Deck] TinFins 3: Return of the Onion Burst

    Hello,

I can help you for this, as I've spent a lot of time evaluating the usefulness of chrome mox (I needed a slot to add LabMan from the .dk DD SB, and it's an amazing slot).

    To try it out...

Re: [Deck] TinFins 3: Return of the Onion Burst

4 copies is a lot, but it does not seems so stupid to me. If entomb is countered, you can flashback it with jace. They want to counter or kill jace? You can reanimate it.

    The fact is that jace...

Re: [Deck] TinFins 3: Return of the Onion Burst

Not with TinFins, but with another storm variant featuring burning wish I once lost a game against D&T: I was unable to kill throught a cannonist & Thalia except for a BW into massacre, and so I did,...

Thanks for this really detailed report and congrats!

On the man-plan in the side deck () subject, if I counted properly you won 10 games out of 15 with the Tin-Fins plan (plus a...

Thanks to needle, waste and karakas are a non issue when you build DD => SI if they are not together on the battlefield.
And even if both are on the battlefield, it is not unbeattable.

I've also cutted the Tundra, for either 3 U Sea, 1 scrubland, 1 swamp, 1 island or 4 U Sea, 1 swamp, 1 Scrubland. I'm not decided yet, but I didn't missed the basic island a lot.

    The report is...

How much spells did you play before DD and how much life did your opponent have?
If you played 2 spells, you could have a ToA for 20, or if you have play only one vs 18 lifes this should work:
