Spirit looks like a card WotC made specifically for this deck. It's almost like a employee picked up DnT and was trying to brainstorm another hatebear to add to it.

I am one of those people. If it doesn't have some number of Brainstorms, I don't want to play it.

I think D&T used to be a fringe deck, but it has recently hit a critical mass of good weenie cards.

Scryb Ranger can chump merfolk all day and can counter wasteland effects by returning lands to your hand.
