Volrath's Stronghold/Academy Ruins in white for enchantments, calling it now!
Has anyone tried a 2-of Exploration? I would be interested in seeing results for this card.
That is a rather ridiculous exaggeration. You don't have to change the mana at all to run a 1 or even 2-of Runed Halo. It is relatively easy to stick on turn 2 with the manabase already in this...
I feel like it helps a ton vs. storm and belcher. It's maindeckable unlike something like Canonist or Chant.
Why are people straying away from Runed Halo? It helps a ton in the bad matchups for this deck and it's never a dead card.
I understand why Dovescape is good, but in what matchups do you guys bring it in, and what do you replace with it?
No one is worried about dadgum D&T, it was an example of how City has applications outside blue decks and Choke does not. Moving on...
I probably will play Choke maindeck if I go to a larger...
haha no I'm not just comparing it to only the D&T matchup, I was just using it as an example. And D&T happens to be a non-blue deck that City benefits from... I think that "no good non-blue reason"...
I'm referring to maindeck City vs. maindeck Choke. Choke does absolutely nothing vs. D&T, while City prevents many obnoxious little shenanigans. I don't think this is a refutable statement...
...
Except decks that don't run islands...
City has good applications in most matchups. Playing against my friend's D&T deck, City simply wins games. Choke would be useless.
That brings uo an interesting question: Mirri's Guile or Sylvan Library? I've played some of both on MWS but I haven't decided which I like better.
Seems like a liability against wasteland and the hate they will board in games 2 and 3, considering most enchantment hate also destroys artifacts. Let me know if it's been worth the extra liability....
