My one quibble is of course,the Ancient Tomb. I dislike the FTV Tombs and would much rather see the Expedition foils in this deck. =)

What do you guys think of the new set's Masterpieces?

They are printing some very Legacy-relevant cards as Masterpieces in this one: Chalice, Ensnaring Bridge, Trinisphere, Wurmcoil Engine, etc.
...

But those duals need to be Summer duals, for real.

Man, it's amazing that with all the foil Korean/Japanese stuff I've seen in this thread that the Beta non-foil mono-black deck is the most beautiful of them all.

So yesterday I had a chance to buy an Expedition Ancient Tomb for $130. I thought about it long and hard, and I still might get my playset, but I'm undecided as to whether or not I really want this...

Summer Magic duals look like crap compared to FBB duals and yet I bet you consider Summer duals >>>> FBB duals in terms of pimp, right?

So what are peoples' thoughts about the new "Expedition" Wasteland? Pimp or not? What's the best Wasteland to play in a Legacy deck at this point?

I dunno. That deck is nice and all, but every time I see those FBB duals I keep thinking that it wouldn't be complete without NM Beta duals in their place.

I don't like Winter art at all. The entire factory is buried in snow, which kind of obscures the beauty of the Foglio renditions in the first place.

I think Summer factory is the prettiest looking...

What are your thoughts on FTV Trinisphere? It is much cheaper than Darksteel Foil Trinisphere and actually in some places even cheaper...

How do people in here feel about FNM promo foils in general? Are they even worse than "non-foil"s?
