I like the direction this list is going, though I still think Suppression Field is a beating. I probably would cut the 3rd wincon (Sigil) or move it into the board over the second Replinish.
Why Eidolon of Rhetoric and not just straight Rule of Law? I would think a 1/4 blocker wouldn't be that relevant in the Storm matchup.
Very impressive finish. How did Sigil of the Empty Throne do throughout the day? I do think 3 Mirri's Guile is the way to go, even if it is a 1cc draw 2+ cards later on. How was Dryad Arbor?
As...
Have you considered Replenish over the second Eidolon?
I brought it in when I suspected pinpoint enchantment hate; Patriot Delver often runs Wear//Tear. Even with a couple Suppression Fields, being able to search up an enchantment when you need it was...
Played in a small tournament (9 people) and won. I played against Burn, a DNT splash Black, and Patriot Delver (or UWR if you prefer.) Sneak and Show, Dredge, Elves, another DNTB, and some poor guy...
I found that mixing up my win conditions was actually very helpful, though I think Helm is a lot weaker than I expected. The best win condition has been Emy, followed by Sigil, but RiP is very good...
Played a local event with the following:
//Lands
3 Serra's Sanctum
4 Savannah
10 Forest
1 Karakas
1 Dryad Arbor
1 Plains
Another added bonus of running Helm I see. I'll test it out as well as -1 Sphere of Safety +1 Gaddock Teeg in the board. I have a small Legacy scene growing here so I'm hoping to get more time in.
I know that Suppression Field was brought up and that perked my interest enough to try a build centered around it. In my testing so far I've been impressed enough to share it with everyone to get...
Moat doesn't win by itself. You still have to win after it is played, therefore, your argument holds less weight than the fact that every other deck has a way of winning through a Moat.
My point is, you shouldn't need to cast a 2WW enchantment and have it stay on the board to be able to win with this deck. I think the silver bullet approach is incorrect.
I personally don't think so; Elephant Grass does a fine job on its own. Humility is bad with Argothian Enchantress, but the deck really doesn't need either.
I run a list very close to Spatula's:
-2 Green Sun's Zenith
+1 Sterling Grove
+1 Ground Seal
I'll give it a whirl with the full set of Zenith's, but I really like the Draw and Tutor power of...
Just out of curiosity, why is everyone moving away from Exploration? I found it to be worlds better than Wild Growth in providing additional mana when comboing out.
I noticed some lists contain a...
I would also think you'd need to compare these results with other decks like Thresh and the like to see how popular it truly is.
I think a lot of people try to make Enchantress a control deck,...
If I were to run a second win condition, I think it should be something that cannot be Needled, which is why I would consider Sigil.
I wouldn't consider Sigil because it works like Words of War...
Would Temporal Isolation be more effective?
Temporal Isolation
1W
Enchantment - Aura
Flash
Enchant creature
Enchanted creature has shadow.
Prevent all damage that would be dealt by...
One thing to remember about Elephant Grass is that Black creatures straight up can't attack you, thus making it far superiour than Humility against decks that like Ichorid, Sui varients, and even...
Is The Abyss really that strong against Threshold? Mystic Enforcer and Nimble Mongoose are both immune. I assume you wouldn't maindeck it in a Thresh-heavy environment.
My situation with Words of War is not having enough enchantments in hand to cast and produce enough draws to kill the opponent, particularly when I had a Solitary Confinement in play for a few turns...
I understand your reasoning. Maybe I'm not playing correctly, but I found Words of War to be so furgin' slow without Sylvan Library, as unless I have a fistful of enchantments when I play it, I...
I like your focused maindeck, but I'm curious why you're not running at least one Sylvan Library?
