Since there is a fixed supply of dual lands, an increase of players attending Legacy Opens or Legacy GP's was not sustainable. Scheduling the same amount of Legacy tournaments...

Perhaps SCG is privy to WoTC's long term magic plans, so it would be wise to reduce Legacy support if WoTC plans to enforce the Reserved List.

I am excited to not have to worry about playing against mono-removal + Dig Through Time. :smile:

I 3-0ed then drew in the last round and sent my 12 prize packs back to the store for $36 credit.

The next one i did, i scrubbed out and dropped at 1-2.

Iirc, it was announced that the fullart lands would be slightly less rare than a foil mythic.
Additionally, they will only be in English, so a korean pack might have a foil fullart Polluted Delta...

Like I can use my Japanese Snapcaster Mages and Abrupt Decays in other formats. Or I could use my signed fetchlands in both Legacy and Modern.

At the moment, I would rather play a Modern tournament instead of a Legacy tournament. A big part of the reason I still attend monthlies in my area, is to support the local scene.

I loved Extended PTQs, so Modern is my favorite format as it fills that hole in my heart. :smile:

I would imagine that these new sets are marketed to new/younger players to increase revenue. It would thus make sense that a community of older players would dislike something not marketed to them

My bad on that post, I indeed went 10-5. Sorry, had a somewhat rough day.

Underperformed this weekend at SCG:DC and finished 10-5 with 2x DP, 2x PiF and 0 Ad nauseam.
Lost matches to mentor miracles, soldier stompy, burn and 4c delver twice.
Gonna cut the 2nd DP. Will...

I finished 11-5 with AnT.

I came close to buying a Marsh Flats and an Arid Mesa to finish a set of 5 (4 for Constructed and 1 for Cube), but then I closed Paypal and decided to wait for the inevitable reprints. :tongue:
