With only 2 Drops in the deck, do you Gamble for it?
A newer version of Turbo Depths won EE7 with a Living Wish package. Very different from RG Lands, but there has been success with that idea along side Dark Depths.
Living Wish to grab an Excavator isn't half bad...
Should just be a Forest with the Stage ability, and end of turn the delayed trigger is put on the stack and the Mirror Forest turns back into a regular mirror.
Think what they're saying is:
Play Chasm
Upkeep, copy it with Stage 1. Sac Chasm.
Play Stage 2
Upkeep, copy Stage 1 with 2 (it becomes a chasm). Sac Stage 1.
Play Stage 1.
Repeat.
If the red land dealt damage to creatures I would consider it here over Barbarian, because it wouldn't have to rely on the graveyard to deal damage (no Threshold, don't have to compete against RIP or...
MKM is a little slow to get hit with MTG speculators, not sure why. Prices there rise anyway because of massive price differentials, but it takes longer. https://www.mtgstocks.com/prints/11912...
at $500 for 2 slots of sideboard, white splash might be worth a shot.
Edit: No way it stays there at all, but will still likely settle to $150ish
Is there something different between the two other than needing to get White? Which I can see that being sometimes difficult but not severely so.
They look identical to me and you can't drop...
Splash a Savannah or two for Poryphory Nodes or whatever?
Yeah, it's a Bribery that mills the opponent if it doesn't find anything.
Telemin Performance
Giving Storm an Emrakul seems...bad. Unless you can go get Karakas real quick. Best bet is probably Tireless Tracker or Pyroblast effects.
Sounds like rock paper scissors to me. Combo > Lands > Delver > Combo. The deck needs to cleanly and reliably answer Deathrite, which may be a problem, but Deathrite decks have a hard time dealing...
It's castable from the graveyard, which I think gives it the edge over Koz Return. You can dredge it and still be useful for a ground wipe. Not sure if missing out on fliers in that case makes it...
The cycle land can be fetched early, then later sacrificed with Crop Rotation. No need to waste your own Wasteland or GQ on it.
Quick search led to an article by Jacob Wilson which mentioned this:
Using Wasted during your own draw step is pretty interesting.
I think I've seen it when they're untapped. Happens in this video at about 7:19 https://youtu.be/8NtUmqwJ7CU
It's the Leovold Dark Bant series.
On the last item, I was watching Reid Duke's youtube series on his True Name BUG and he was always wastelanding his opponent on their upkeep. I'm not sure why either.
Thanks for the write up.
Seems like after he saw the first Karakas trick, he should've just Sneaked in Emrakul, have it bounced before attacks, then Sneaked Emrakul again to wipe your board.

The copy portion of this is incorrect. Song allows the permanent to be targeted by Thespian's Stage, since it is a land, so Stage will copy all of the printed text on the permanent. After that, the...
The dream.
I've been seeing Surgical more and more these days.
What matchups did you have? What is the aim of the GQs, just to ghostout opponents with Loam?
How does it combo with Chains? Chains only ever lets someone draw their drawstep card, anything else (even you, on the opponent's turn) don't get anything without discarding first.
And if you...
