Can confirm, you guys are good vs the new Miracles deck.
Yeah, I agree with this assessment.
Ancient Tomb seems like a good SB option again too, and load up on spheres.
If Storm players pick up Telemin Performance you could play some Revokers as its good vs them anyway.
Using Wasteland during your own draw step is pretty interesting.[/QUOTE]
Very interesting, I'd never considered that, quite relevant for decks that play haste creatures, equipment or something...
In that example they'd need to also pay one for the Daze to resolve the Brainstorm, so you're tying up a mana on their turn by doing it in upkeep. Alternatively, they may have a 2cmc+ spell to cast...
Yeah, I think we're on the same page.
I'd never advise someone to take the deck without a Tabernacle to a GP, SCG Open, or any bigger tournament. It's absolutely key in a lot of matchups and...
The deck is considerably worse without it, but it's still 'playable' at a LGS or something.
OK, so in this case it's right to do it in upkeep. If they're tapped out you should mainphase it.
The punishing fire question will really depend on what the game state is like. If you're playing against a creature deck, then it's worth bringing both back probably as you may need to cast it twice...
Has anybody tested GQ > Port further? The more I think about it the better I like it at the moment. Very strong vs Miracles, Eldrazi and Delver.
Thanks for the input on SoR vs Miracles guys, so in if they're playing a low to the ground build, out if they're not seems to be the consensus? Almost all builds are 'low to the ground' now.

How do people feel about siding Sphere of Resistance in against Miracles?
The problem with relying on Vortex is if it gets Revokered and a Prelate is on 2 you're pretty screwed. With Recruiter in the mix this isn't that unlikely, so having something that can clear this...
They usually set Revoker on Vortex.
That's not a bad idea! Gets around Mother of Runes too.
:really:
Perfect way to have nobody take you seriously, I guess.
Enough to warrant boarding in spheres? I play Miracles a fair bit, and really don't care when lands plays a Sphere. I can still top and make my land drops, which is the only thing I care about for...
Yeah, Glacial Chasm?
Bridge seems awful with Loam. Just means you HAVE to have an Exploration/Manabond at all times.
Win the die roll
Take this with a grain of salt as I've not actually played the mirror, but mulling to Manabond or Exploration seems pretty important, a slow hand can be easily run over....
Decimate has to have a target for every mode to be cast, you can't play it consistently enough against something like Miracles.
So post your ideas here? Not everyones ideas should go straight into the primer. Especially if it's an unorthodox or untested approach to sideboarding.
Yeah, I think he was overconfident and...
Nah, revel in the glory of both gambles not hitting the worst card in your deck then Owen Messing up! I was surprised he didn't try and find an Emrakul before attacking, and then going down to 1 is...
Aha, that makes sense! I was joking with some friends earlier wondering how on earth lands boards in Fallout vs Sneak and Show, but I didn't know about G1. What a hilarious 'gottem!'
And the award for most useless post goes to...
