Well, if I still played in paper, I think I'd be peeved. I sold all my paper cards a couple years ago and just play online now, where you can't forget triggers in the first place. Sounds like a major...

I've been out of it a while. What's the new Tabernacle rule?

This isn't actually correct. I've done the Chasm-lock on Modo enough times to know that age counters do not transfer when using a Stage to copy a Chasm.
Edit: Sorry, misread your post. Age...
So, I think I've finally got my audio/video sync issues worked out, so here's another video:
#172
Also, while I'm not sure anybody cares, here's a video of a Vintage Cube draft that I did today...
Thanks to both Sparkii and Supremepineapple. It's good to be making videos again.
Hello all,
Here's another video. #171.

So, here's my first video in about a year:
Building a Fortress #170.
This video features all five matches in a recent Legacy League event, so enjoy. Unfortunately, the sound is screwed up...
Sure. Here you go. All 169 of them.
Hello all,
I'm seriously considering making more Building a Fortress videos, but before I get new equipment and whatnot, I wanted to gauge interest on this forum. Also, since Jarvis has been...
I really don't understand this reaction. The banning of Top is what has gotten me interested in this deck again. Now that we don't have to warp our boards to try to beat Miracles (which is awesome,...
Can you explain your reasoning? I'm not sure why the absence of Miracles makes Blood Moon decks better--and doesn't combo still lose to Force of Will, countermagic, and discard, just like it always...
What else are you thinking of running in your sideboard? Current ideas for me look something like:
4 Sphere
2 Revoker
2 Tireless Tracker
1 Ancient Tomb
1 Karakas
1 Bojuka Bog
1 Ancient...
This is true. K-Grip is useful against Food Chain, while Seal of Primordium and Naturalize are not--but I always felt K-Grip's higher casting cost was only justified because we have to get rid of...
I'm glad to have made them and I'm glad you enjoyed them. Even though I made plenty of boneheaded mistakes, I look back at them feeling like they were worthwhile.
I haven't posted in forever, but my excitement over the Top ban is high. Super interested in how the death of Miracles frees up our sideboard. Up to the last big showing for Lands, with Ayer's 2nd...
It would have been awesome to see you take it down again, but congratulations on an excellent run. Happy to see that straight RG is still as good as ever.
My bad. I don't really check my messages on this site. At all, in fact. When using CamStudio, I always recorded as an AVI file, and then I used compressor software (any old free one will do) to...
On the Choke vs. Boil topic:
First, I have no desire to rehash an old row between myself and Cfetch, but I do want to weigh in on this.
Choke, I would say, is overall a better card. It costs...
Here's a link to the lists in the tournament. Lantto's is among them.
Similar to Ayer's 5-0 League list, in that it splashes black only for board options. Seems like too few black sources to me,...
Sweet. I quit smoking cigarettes four years ago, and coffee has been my good, good friend ever since.
Again, I'm gonna try to make it to the Legacy Classic in Columbus, since it's the closest big tournament to me until SCG decides to come to Cincinnati again.
Congrats on the finish. Good report, too.
I might make it to GP Columbus, though with a daughter and a pregnant wife, I can't say for sure. I'll post later if it's definite.
Yeah, back in UR Delver Cruise meta, I tested Courser. Decent card, though I don't think it would be enough against Burn. If you want lifegain, you could try Finks or Baloth, as suggested by...
All fair points. I've been owned by wear tear once or twice.
Yes thanks chatto. Not trying to insult anyone. It's just that the original post made it seem like the new list was jarvis yu's, which it isn't.
In either case, i agree with j. Yu that rg feels...
