Our event concluded this weekend with 26 planeswalkers battling for charity! Congratulations to everyone who walked away with a gift card and thanks to everyone who showed up to make this possible!

    Re: [SCD] Veil of Summer

Way back in the day I was working on a Legacy Painter Food Chain Two Card Monte list that started with Chrome Mox/Painter's Servant and added 67 cards because I thought the interaction between those...

    Re: [Deck] U/G Infect

Played a 4 rounder at weekly legacy last night, thought I'd share my experiences first then my thoughts on how the meta game is shaping up with the advent of War, MH1, and soon Core Set 2020.

    R1...
  4. Re: A Call to Arms: In support of the Legacy Format

Good to know there are others who feel this way. I got as far as making a MODO account and spending a bit of money on drafts before deciding it was too different from paper magic for my taste. Of...
  5. A Call to Arms: In support of the Legacy Format

To everyone here, but also no one in particular:

It's sort of disheartening to see so many of us get so down about this format that we all play and love. There's for sure a lot to be bummed about,...

Hey Source users, I'm partnering with Asgard Games and some of our favorite local restaurants to organize and host a sanctioned legacy charity event. All proceeds beyond cost are going directly to...

    Re: [Deck] U/G Infect

I like the flexibility of this card but it feels overcosted at 2 mana. Sure it's a neat a swiss army knife stapled to a zombie token, but I don't see us being able to cast this in spots where it's...

    Re: [Deck] U/G Infect

Don't own copies of either yet, but Teferi seems like the better of the two in Infect. The ability to turn off opposing cantrips is strong, but I think turning off our opponent's ability to interact...
  12. Re: [Podcast] Lone Star Legacy: War of the Spark Set Review

Well at least we can agree we're not here to argue this. Great song btw.

Idk man, seems like legacy players are pretty good at memorizing cards on the fly. Every time you run into a new card...
  13. Re: [Podcast] Lone Star Legacy: War of the Spark Set Review

Hey bud, thanks for taking the time to respond. I think a lot of content creators including ourselves have come to the same conclusion about podcasts, and that is that they're one of the best ways to...

    Re: [DTB] UWx Stoneblade

Can't speak for Depths, but you should be approaching your Infect matchup like its a Delver deck rather than a combo matchup. I'd look to play safely, fetching basics wherever you can and playing...

  19. Re: [Deck] Canadian Threshold (aka RUG Delver, Tempo Thresh)

This isn't a Legacy challenge, mtgtop8 links and refers to it as a 'MTGO Legacy league 5-0 Compilation.'

    Here is the alleged source...
  20. Re: [Deck] Canadian Threshold (aka RUG Delver, Tempo Thresh)

Pretty sure that's a fake decklist, there's no record of it on the 5-0 compilation.
  21. Re: [Deck] Canadian Threshold (aka RUG Delver, Tempo Thresh)

You definitely want to find room for the Sylvan Library vs Infect. I'd recommend trimming a Force of Will or a Tarmogoyf.
  22. Re: [Deck] Canadian Threshold (aka RUG Delver, Tempo Thresh)

All fair points. I've been hinging my 75 on Winter Orb which in turn means there's a couple of things that we'll be doing differently (for example I'm pretty unlikely to cut FoW vs Grixis Control...
  23. Re: [Deck] Canadian Threshold (aka RUG Delver, Tempo Thresh)

Thanks for taking the time to write this up, seems like you had a pretty good run outside of getting Eldrdazi'd.

Regarding your Grixis Control matchup, what's the rationale for taking out...
  24. Re: [Deck] Canadian Threshold (aka RUG Delver, Tempo Thresh)

Hey all, here's another tournament recap from last night's 4 rounder. List for reference:

    3 Noble Hierarch
    4 Delver of Secrets
    2 Tarmogoyf
    2 Hooting Mandrils
    2 True-Name Nemesis

Think Naturalize is the way to go these days if you want 2cmc artifact/enchantment removal. Seal of Primordium started picking up steam around the DTT era when Omnitell was the deck to beat for...
