    Re: Jelly, Eggs and Bacon

If you're going to play bad cards (Body Double), consider Volrath's Shapeshifter to get more out of your first trigger. In the earliest versions of Flashless Hulk my usual line would look like...

    Re: [Deck] UW(x) Landstill

If you reanimate Lutri with Reclamation, Lutri enters the battlefield before you even choose a target for the copy of Reclamation. There's no window to use Karakas yet so you have to wait for the...

    Re: [Deck] UW(x) Landstill

    1. You target Lutri with Reclamation
    2. Assuming it resolves, Lutri enters the battlefield
    3. Lutri doesn't trigger
    4. You put Reclamation's copy on the stack

Yeah, as per usual that was pretty painful to watch...

Glad to see people have kept iterating with the deck though!

    Re: Song of Creation Storm

I think we should start brewing towards the new draw spell that was leaked. Someone less lazy than I am will link properly if need be but it basically reads:

    From M21 is memory serves.

    I...

    Re: [Deck] UW(x) Landstill

If you don't have other interaction than removal, we'll just make a pile that will consume the whole library. Meddling Mage alone doesn't do it either but it helps of course. If it names Doomsday, we...

    Re: [Deck] UW(x) Landstill

I'm considering him (in addition, not in lieu of) against Thassa's Oracle decks, again, with added usage in other matchups. For instance, as a Doomsday pilot I'd rather see Deafening Silence than...

    Re: [Deck] UW(x) Landstill

@Fox I agree with most points you've made except they're not as clear cut for me as they are for you (yet) so I'll just keep asking myself "Do I want this X to be Y?" whenever it comes up I think :-)...

Played a modified list yesterday but tried to stay as close to the original as possible for testing purposes :-) https://deckbox.org/sets/2650979

    Re: Escape Brain Freeze

It depends, but I'm mostly nitpicking: in my Echo list, I would often not crack LED as I dig with Brainstorm. Generally speaking, or specifically in a 10+ cantrips list cracking LEDs before resolving...

It does. Your opponents will/should go after 2cmc spells with Chalice and Prelate.

She often functions as a dork or as an extra Black Lotus. The mill 4 ability is very relevant, and you can also often repeat it for :u: thanks to the rule of Legendary. Redundancy with Defense Grid...

    Re: Escape Brain Freeze

I have a very different experience with Faithless Looting. And I encourage people not to be on mill cards like Tome Scour, especially without Echo of Eons. The selection while discarding in Faithless...

    Re: Escape Brain Freeze

What are you looking for specifically? Plenty of lists posted here already.

I don't think it's any amount of correct not to play LEDs lol
Black Lotus is very strong when legal :-)

Yup but likely in the sideboard.

Yeah I also agree with this, though it might prove too difficult to replay the
Astrolabe over and over. Bauble are good with Emry as well pre-combo for card...

Those don't come close to Frenzy. I have played it an extensive amount in Doomsday so I am kinda familiar with it ^^ Frenzy lets you play the 59 other cards unlike Forge. Paradoxical Outcome I think...

Nothing prevents them from having Hexproof before you go off, be it with an early Veil, or with a permanent like Leyline.

Grapeshot is superior. It kills a Thalia when you're that deep.
Still in colors, Thassa's Oracle is a better Jace, Wielder of Mysteries, is still in colors and doesn't die to removal like Laboratory...

In my example, opponent actually puts a card in your library before the trigger resolves :-) But you're right, I wouldn't worry either about removal.

    Re: Escape Brain Freeze

Yes absolutely. If you look at a one of the slate files, take Doomsday's for instance: if you want any 3 lands, you input:

    (3, 'L')

Since in that slate you marked all card names referring to...

    Re: Escape Brain Freeze

One of those is more of a corner case:

    - Stifle and similar effects
    - Pull from Eternity + removal (my Echo Storm list has access to that)

Unexpectedly Absent + Swords to Plowshares works as...

    Re: Escape Brain Freeze

I found it versatile enough to be considered, but it's very bad on its own to be honest. I think this could be perfect in a list with Experimental Frenzy if we somehow go this route.

    Re: Escape Brain Freeze

Yeah indeed. You can however play a longer game and empty your library pretty quickly with crabs and smaller resolutions of Brain Freeze.
