I played Painter for some time and it still holds a special place in my heart.

So, looking for opinions here. If I were to start picking up pieces for Eldrazi, what is the least awful form of ancient tomb? I love the old art, but I dislike the FTV foiling.

It costs a lot! :laugh:

Edit: There were two on Ebay the other day. While I wouldn't expect anyone to buy them at $12,000 or $17,000 that does show that they would cost a pretty penny if you were...

FWIW I enjoy the promos and pre-release cards with alternate art.

You're on your own with the FTV foiling though... I am still praying I will get a Grove of the Burnwillows with the FTV art, but...

I started doing this and planned to finish it up by picking up most of the rest of the parts once it was banned in modern.

Then I found out how much a foil CoT is :)

Amazing prices. I always said that if I found Bazaars at a decent price I would pick them up just to be able to play Vintage.

As a painter player, I am VERY jealous of this. This decks looks beautiful.

I suppose you could grab the foil Petals as well. However, you seems unhappy with the FTV foiling.
