Those alters are awesome. I have like 10 alters and always intend to use them but I end up just admiring them in my binder.
My gf came back from Japan today and surprised me with 1 japanese...
I was going through my collection putting together some decks and taking apart others. Thought I might as well scan a few of the cool cards. T1 and T1.5

That is exactly what I use. As mentioned, just compress the deck and air will come out. Over a few weeks the deck should drop down to like 15% bigger than one without em.
Probably multiple erasers and massive lactic acid buildup in the forearms.
I gave my gf a list of cards to look out for in Japan and she was able to get a few legacy cards. Here are some:
