I still do not understand how people can argue for non-interactivity as a criterion for banning candidacy. Does anybody really enjoy getting counter top locked out of a game or getting...

Time to break out your wraths and engineered plagues. Looking forward to DCI killing 3-4 decks on Wednesday. It seems reanimator was huge in the invitational which absolutely crushes sneak...
Griselbrand fueled combo winter is in full effect, and it seems that 2 maverick decks, elves, and goblins are in the scg open's top 8...
The SCG invitational is looking really interesting. The metagame breakdown shows the expected increase of control (BUG and stoneblade) that would help combat RUG and Griselbrand decks:

What I think needs discussion is the weird psychology behind the call for bannings. I am at loss as to the perception of dominance that people are talking about. There was a single SCG top 8...
Top 16 Breakdown:
4 Delver (3 RUG, 1 UR)
2 Belcher
2 Maverick
Sneak and Show
MUD
UW Miracles
Hypergenesis
Dredge
Merfolk

Watch this match and tell me there is no thinking. Then watch the finals where he loses with a Griselbrand in play.

I agree, the two SCG stock tier 1 decklists struggle with Show and Tell. Why is that a problem? Have you tried other decks? BUG is definately a good answer to the lists top 8ing currently. This...
I will say it again: the cost of strategic superiority is inconsistency. If 30% of the SCG open circuit was playing TES. You would here a ton of crying about turn one wins and see 4/8 of the top...
The fact of the matter is these decks go all in, usually 5-6 cards to try to win in 1-2 turns. Furthermore, all of the Show and Tell decks regularly win without seeing show and tell. Hive mind...
I don't see anything changing. Maverick and RUG are still top 8ing consistently and stoneblade is evolving with its new toys. I agree that Griselbrand is definitely the new standard for cheaty...
