I'm pretty sure the same problem was with factories for a decade... ^^ couldn't pump itself while blocking when it came into play on your turn. Factory as a land could do that instantly.

Well I think you can't attack with an 5/5 EE you just dropped in the same turn. Am I wrong? Isn't it still sick?
Yep it also didn't work as well, I always wished it was another creature instead.
I even tried Reanimate as "undercoated beater".
They both look good on paper but are imo too narrow and situational.
Actually I think that Flesh Reaver didn't see any play in the last 5 years, it is even older...
With Death's Shadow you have a good chance to race the opp, and flesh reaver speeds this point...
After some games with bloodghasts I'm not convinced yet. They are strong with therapies, they are strong with grisly salvage, but on their own they are terrible for BB.
In memory of the good old red...
Nice result! Did you play with ghasts/therapies?
DS is overwhelming against every aggro deck that is trying to race you. It turns the game to your favor for B.
If it sticks and the chance is very high due to your disruption package the combat...
I followed the conversation for the last days including the debate about death's shadow and I also see potential in that card.
Jtos list is very solid but when I just saw the idea with bloodghast...
You can start with deed. It's in most cases one turn too slow and now when you run shaman, you have to hit 3+ cards to make CA.
While Lili being very strong against a lot of decks you aren't happy...
After turn 1 you have 2 power on board at 16 life with 3 cards left in your hand. This is everything but pressure.
If thoughtcast gets countered you'll have a hard time. But this is the problem of...
If you change frogmite in that hand I wouldn't keep it with skirges either.
I like the deck due to the CA and therefore being able to go for longer than 4 turns.
I played a lot of variants of...
This is why I just added a 4th shaman to my list instead of one wasteland, don't regret it so far...
This is a deck The Abyss was printed for...
I took BUG Cascade to a 50 man tournament and went 4-2 beating Merfolk, TES, Mono B, UW Miracle (all 2-0) while loosing to RUG Delver (1-2, final match with mulligan 5 and one island) and Goblins...
He's utility par excellence, can be played either aggressive against slow decks or controlish against fast decks. Ramp and lifegain in one card, also strong in early AND mid game.
The only issue is...
the germ is still sick as it comes into play during the upkeep...
It's "only" 6 dmg 1st turn
This is correct but was not my suggestion. Cc1 removal is replaced by snuff out atm which is 100% faster than demise. Also strix is 30% faster than scm and agent takes profit from it while being 25%...

The matches I had with shardless BUG I actually didn't have time to wait until T4 for casting agent or do some setup to make him good. You weaken your cascading action with snapcaster and demise....
I went 2-2-0 drop yesterday due to heavy misplays and playing BUG Control the first time. The only BUG I piloted in the Top 8 was TA in the early days. Like Esper said it plays way different with...
I played the shardless version today on a 60 man tourney. It was a pleasure to play! I give a short report tomorrow, wheather's too nice atm.
That's correct but I don't like 2/2 vanillas for cc3 ;-)
I had the same feeling for CB. IMO you have to maximize the 2cc game breakers to have max support from agent and cut all removal that could kill your own creatures. I suggest replacements like Snuff...
I also think this build has potential. The first thing though I cascaded into was ghastly demise with just my agent and an opponent's mongoose on the table...
The need of tempo in early game is a...
My current test build:
4 Island
4 City of Traitors
4 Ancient Tomb
4 Misthollow Griffin
4 Etched Champion
4 Chrome Mox
3 Umezawa's Jitte
