Personally I'd be down to experiment with NOT having to shuffle decks ~50 times a game.
This is not a valid argument. There's clearly a place in a varied metagame for an archetype that beats the Tier 1 and loses to enough Tier 2+ strategies to stay near 55-45 overall. You can't...
Because Necropotence is uncastable in an 18 land 4 Wasteland UR deck, I would think.
Modern Eldrazi doesn't regularly play Thorn, so I doubt it. Too much of the format plays a lot of creatures. It's also only a $15 card, what's the big deal?
I wouldn't mind Earthcraft or Mana Drain being unbanned.
I find this hard to believe because I'm having trouble coming up with a deck that badly wants double Hymn for 5.
It's spelled capiche, and force will never be banned. Get over it, as you suggest.
I was going to post almost this exact same reply and didn't... because it's pretty obvious. There's still time for Notion Thief blowouts!
So what? What strategy can't you play because of this? What archtype is the metagame unfairly oppressing? The way it looks to me and a lot of others is that aggro, control, combo, prison, etc. are...
One would think.
If you're gonna do all that you have to take out Wirewood Symbiote or Nettle Sentinel also, otherwise your "healthier more diverse" meta will just be elves and decks trying to beat elves.

There was a 6/7 for 1G in the same set, so it's not like they have a good grip on what 'safe' means.
3 different combo decks, two different control archetypes, one aggro deck and two different midrange lists made top 8, but yeah it's a completely **** format, lets start banning things.
I don't accept this argument that the format is in decline as the prices of staples rocket to new highs every week.
You can't claim people are driven away from the format as it stands when a...
Also fall/winter versus summer/fall.
Twist and Vise are barely even Legacy playables, imo.
Mind Twist is fairly symmetrical early in the game (You're using Dark Rituals to Mind Twist me instead of win the game? Sweet!) and would only...
They have, it's called Modern. WotC has stated before that they do not and have no plans to design cards for Legacy/Vintage.
If you're sick of FoW and Brainstorm, there's a format for you already.
Annnd a deck with 12 Plains just went 12-0 and hardly dropped a game all day.
There's no such thing as a "Brainstorm Deck."
Might as well complain about all the "Tropical Island Decks."
Best of luck casting Mandrils as a Zoo player against incidental maindeck graveyard hate.
When's the last time anybody resolved Balance and had it be worth one good damn?
Am I right in thinking that if upwards of 95% of the only format it's legal in doesn't even play the card, maybe it...
When people start casting Delvecestral Recall and dominating tournaments with it.
I've got to give you points for sticking this one into an otherwise mostly serious post.
I just want to point out that this is only true because control decks have historically barely hung on in most formats. It's the nature of magic that proactive strategies are better than reactive.

Every Survival, Earthlink, Hermit Druid, Mind Twist, Frantic Search, etc. reduces the viability of "fair decks" by forcing them to compete with another instant win.
On the other hand, Mana Drain...
