    Because it sparkles and people are dumb and equate that to special. I've always hated foil cards - they don't prove a card is hard to get and/or their own dedication, they just prove gullibility....

    Buy yes, but not sell. A person looking to sell cards can price them at whatever they want. You put an expensive and rare card at 70% its 'value' on eBay and that thing is as good as sold.

    Old School. There's a deck that uses Living Plane, as well as various decks that use lesser known cards on the RL.

    I think there are a couple of factors. Original printings (I'm not aware of any cards that had their first printing be white border outside of P3K), original frames and art tend to be others....

    Nah, it's all Power regardless of condition or ABU. I started buying into Vintage a year ago and the prices for a P9, regardless of printing, were nothing compared to what they are today. These price...
