Exactly, and those are mostly older players with lot of disposable income. Thats why I mean tthese people will soak up any duals coming from a diminishing legacy player base.

My expectation is, that duals would not take a significant drop even if legacy takes the way of vintage.

I can only laugh at people thinking the popularity of legacy has any significant influence on the prices of duals... Legacy's poplularity and the price of duals have been exactly antiproportonal over...

It makes 0 sense that all RL cards are spiking left and right like crazy if the market had fakes coming in and increasing supply.

I think fakes are more a risk for modern cards or maybe revised duals (all of the good look ones are allready suspicious). I dont think LEG/AN/A/B fakes will become a problem. It is near impossible...

Well goal achieved, the market is in total panic. The slightest rumour causes massive buyouts. Now MCM is also allways part of it :/

He has to go for cards with limited supply. Look how many people are selling duals on MCMon Facebook, there is no way he has enough funds for that.

So there is an interview with the buyout guy on mtgprice.com, says he is doing mtg trading 14 hours a day and stuff. Creadle and CoT are cards he mentions by the way.

Not sure if this is the right threat, but wasn't there some rumor to reprint special cards for SOI like expeditions? Or was this untrue?
